  1. I like Jesse said habs could definitely beat the caps that’s what is so good about hockey it’s not like basketball football or baseball wher the first seed always wins we’ve seen many upsets before like the miracle on ice or even though they didn’t win Vegas’s first year that doesn’t happen in any other sports I know i Missed a bunch but that’s hockey misa is going first by the way

  2. Kuemper has been lights out, but Foegele has also been amazing for us. He’s top 3 in goals on the team and top ten in plus minus in the entire league. Overall an amazing player and a great addition

  3. Unlike grown children and hockey journalists I can see Ovechkins record breaking for what it is, an unbelievable accomplishment and probably the greatest sports achievement that will happen during my lifetime. Unreal job Ovi and congratulations!

  4. i don't think the bruins are as much of a surprise as you think, the writing has been on the wall for a while, we had nothing in the pipeline and an aging core. Our last two seasons were the real surprises

  5. Love the hour long episode!!! This needs to be more common instead of the usual rushing to finish the podcast at the 40-45 minute mark

  6. Who did the Canes lose? Raanta, Skjei, Pesce, Teravainen, Noesen, Kuznetsov, Guentzel. Along with our GM. This was supposed to be a retool year for sure while we get guys like Blake acclimated. In the offseason every media head is saying this is the year the Canes might miss the playoffs, now all of a sudden it’s “if the Canes don’t win it all this year then they need to tear it down” come on

  7. I will say, Luka, now that I've finished this marathon 😂
Kuemper WAS that guy for Colorado and I think that this season is really just another outlier.
He's a solid back up, playing in a club like Minnesota, Boston, or (now) LA where he can pull 50-50 with another "not quite" top starter. We saw it with Ullmark pushing Swayman, and Kuemper needs someone pulling 25-35 games to ensure he's not being run into the ground.
And a decent defense. Those Avs and these Kings are at that level.

  8. Pittsburgh has the most picks in the next 3 drafts and Dubas has a great drafting record I don’t think that’s directionless

  9. Saying Marty St Louis was on the hot seat, at any point during this season shows how little these guys actually know about the Habs.

  10. the fact y'all don't know how many players the canes lost this offseason is very concerning

  11. "Blue Jackets Aren't Yet A Very Strong Offensive Team" Meanwhile The Jackets Have Been Top Ten In Scoring all Year. For Parts of The Season Were Top 3! 😂

No Shout Out For The PPG Seasons of Marchenko and Monahan! Kent Johnson Doing Work!! Marchenko, Voronkov and Monny were the best 5on5 Line In The League!! No Mention Of Voronkov and Mateychuck being beauties!! If Not For Early and ill Timed Injuries, horrendous Goaltending, Damon Severson Yips and This Teams In The Playoffs! Columbus (Elvis/Tarasov/Severson) Gave away at least 15-20 Games this season😢 5 or 10 okay but the rest were ridiculous! These Boys Played Their Behinds off Trying To Do The Unthinkable And Win… For Johnny❤

  12. Nemec was injury before the season started and if you did research you would know kov who they got from MTL. had a GREAT offseason and played good while Pesce was out to start the season. So you saying cant crack the line is just false.hes been in and out of lineups cuz keefe refuses to bench anyone else on D for the same mistakes. Casey made so many mistakes and never once got bench. Noone expected Kov to be so good pairing with siegs so. scapegoating in the NHL is a pathetic coach move which keefe is. keep in mind NJ went down hill after the xmas healthy team too so cant use injuries as a excuses.
