After losing to the Kings a few games ago, Ekholm should not have been allowed to return and left to heal until the start of the playoffs.

Not only did Bowman fail to sign broberg and Holloway, he did absolutely nothing at the deadline. He signed klingberg and fredric, both of which are cripples, who knows about walman. I wonder if elkholms health would be better if we didn't play him so many minutes and had a more substantial blue line.
Cam Dineen is a good defenceman but Troy Stretcher get’s no love……..he is solid and we are lucky to have him.

Players seem to be getting green lighted only to get re-injured. Is this a medical staff issue that needs to be addressed? Is the team simply getting too old? Aren't we the oldest team in the NHL? Losing Holoway and Broberg this past summer is looking worse.
Damn! Losing Ekholm puts a massive dent in the Oilers' chances to go on another deep run.
it would be wise for oilers fans to lower their expectations for this year. entire team is banged up and old and slow, with shaky goaltending. i strongly believe that with a good offseason here, and lots of rest for key pieces we can have a great bounceback season next year.
They better get that newly signed goalie into Edmonton quick!

Should have never been played after 4 nations. He was sick and exhausted. Then got injured by returning to the ice in that condition. Very bad news indeed. Possibly squeak by the kings, but I’m afraid the road may end there without him back healthy.
Question, Mattias is out , go LTR and put Evander Kane in his place because of cap space. Not sure, can this be done.

Horrible news on Ekholm. This will sink their playoff chances greatly. I thought before that they still had a good chance at a cup but this is a huge loss for the team. Speedy recovery Ekholm 🙏
