  1. We all know it would come eventually, and even more-so when he stopped being able to join on the ice. It still stings to hear the words come out of his mouth :(.

  2. I will always remember the day I told my girlfriend, then, wife, now how this guy was going to be good when he got drafted. We obviously now know how amazing he would become for this organization. What an amazing player, but most importantly, a better human. I will miss watching how clutch he was during the big games. Never shied away from big moment games. I do hope we see him again as part of the organization helping Mike Grier. I hope we get a long tribute video of his greatness. Logan, you made those ten years of playoffs amazing for us as fans to watch. Wishing you the best post hockey career!!! Thank you!

  3. I wanted him to come back so bad man. Would have been an unreal 3C for this young team and give invaluable experience and teaching to Mack and Will especially

  4. Thank you for everything, Cooch. First captain I knew here, always gonna be special. Wishing well.

  5. Sad his career should end due to health issues. Would have loved to see him play another season or two… I suppose the silver lining is the "C" will be back on the ice next season. And with the roster getting locked down and the team looking to gel and become competitive, if perhaps not quite make the playoffs yet, it will matter that the C is present on ice and in the locked rooms.

  6. A shame to see his playing career come to an end but I'm glad the organization can now move on and focus on improving our leadership ranks. Hopefully cooch will be part of the org in some way.

  7. Sucks he never got back to the playoffs. He was a stone cold killer during playoff time. Best of luck in life, Cooch.

  8. The fact he stuck with the Sharks – through the high and the lows I can respect that, he will always be a legend in our org. Best wishes to you Cooch, here’s to a happy retirement – and thank you for all your hard work and memories.

You embodied what it meant to be a Shark.

  9. loved him playing…..remember him …when they played the Avalanche "Logan Couture with his second of the Day" playoffs ….I still repeat that when im watching the Sharks…thanks for the memories, Couture.

  10. Thank you Logan. I appreciate all the hard work you’ve put into your career playing for my favorite team. I’ll still wear your sweater proudly. 39💪
