———————————– https://www.facebook.com/sportsnet https://twitter.com/sportsnet https://www.instagram.com/sportsnet/ https://www.tiktok.com/@sportsnet ———————————– #nhl

  1. Homie announcers who can't figure out the guy is falling and his leg whips out and accidentally kicks the puck perfectly into the top corner.
    That's a 1 in a million shot.
Why would it even be reviewed?

  2. Officiating gets really weird whenever the Avs play… must be a coincidence ?

  3. Man that's a weird killer if that's goal is against my team. But it's funny when it's not 😂

  4. There can't be intent with a top-corner kick…

Hell , this is the first top corner kick goal I've ever seen.

  5. I think what blows me away is even when you get a situation like this when it's clear as day it wasn't a kicking motion…..People still try to claim it was.

  6. You know these playoffs gonna' be great when it starts with one of the most beautiful soccer goals in history.

  7. It looks like it's going to be 8 loses in a row for Dallas. Goes to show you. When you suck going into the playoff. You suck in the playoff! Colorado in 4. SWEEP! Another highly talented Stars team bits the dust!

  8. Kicking motion if there ever was one. If it was the flames that scored that it would be no goal.

  9. It's a good goal as no reasonable person would consider that he intended to kick the goal into the net. The rules state no "distinct kicking motion" and that distinction is further explained as being deliberate.

  10. If curly headed doofus matthew tkachuck can kick a goal in then this goal was above good

  11. how could that even be reviewed?

what a waste of time lol

imagine if he actually meant to do that.

  12. I’ve watched Dallas be awarded with a goal after a blatant kicking motion that went into a dislogged next count in the playoffs against Minnesota. If that was a goal, then this is easily a goal

  13. That has to be one of the luckiest goals in NHL history and the fact, that it went top shelf like that….lmao.

  14. Lucky? Yes. Impossible to recreate? Yes. Entirelly unintentional kick? Only the kicker will ever know. Do I think he scored it on purpose? No. Did he know exactly where that puck was and try to propel it towards the net? I think he did. But again, only one man will ever really know, haha. Fluke, glad it counted.
Slow motion replay tends to ruin incidents like this, as the viewer can be lulled into a false sense of how fast things actually occurred.

  15. Old skool spanking tonight! Thats for that hearbreaker celly last year! Duchene really knows how to leave a foul taste in a mouth!

  16. You got to be kidding me by saying that was a kicking motion. He was leveling down and you’re telling me that Lehkonen knew where the puck was?

  17. Lehkonen is either the best soccer player in the world disguising himself as a great hockey player, or this is just an accident. Your judgment, and I know which I lean towards.

  18. A kicking motion, in the NHL, has to – by definition – be intentional. It really isn't that hard. And calling it "like a scissor kick" is actively insane. He is being taken down! He can't see the puck, and his leg flicks out because it literally can't fold anymore while the Dallas player is bowling him over. Such wild cope from the announcers.
