    the series isnt going to be close, the Panthers forward depth and physicality is too much. The Panthers also have the #1 difference maker in hockey which is Aleksandr Barkov. Panthers in 5 if the Lightning are lucky!

    I think the Cats bounce the Lightning in 6, I think that Rat line is going to throw off Kuch who can be a hot head when he's thrown off his game and they really don't have the toughness they had in those 3 straight finals apperances to deal with it, going with Florida on this one

    Reminds me of the Lakers – Celtics rivalry from the 80s. Panthers(Celtics) like to slow it down and grind it out, Lighting(Lakers) like to play fast break showtime.

    M. Tkachuk was skating this morning and looked great. At full strength Florida is better. Florida is deeper, and the Barkov line will neutralize the Point line. The deeper team usually wins. Panthers in 5 or 6.

    Hope these 2 teams don't kill each other in first round, both have Latvian players, so for me it's best team wins and goes to the promised land

    Panthers have to find some extra gas in the tank or just full on NOS the system because lately they have looked like a team that's played more hockey than everyone else.

    Tampa is going to be a tough out, they are peaking at the right time and Vasy seems to be back, which is bad news.

    It's such a close matchup and it's almost a shame that one of these teams will be out on the first round. Going to be a great series though, there's a little bit of everything in the mix:

    Chance for epic goalie-duel, ✅
    Selke caliber 200ft monster centers going at it, ✅
    Grinding physicality, ✅
    Superstar skill forwards, ✅
    Epic defense that can provide offense on both sides, ✅
    Crazy good depth, ✅

    The winner of this series might just make the finals as the ultimate beast of the east whereas it'll probably be down to Jets and Avs to decide who'll be the best from the west.

    I love the cats always seen as underdogs, against record setting teams, against the top scorers. What a series this will be! Los Gatos in 7!

    I yhink the different will be yhe lack if chemistry and lite of players not being ready 100% for panters. Also I think everyone is sleeping in Guntzel, the guys have proven playeung better in playoffs then in regular season. Do TB in 6

    I’m taking the Panthers in six and is not only because I’m a Panthers fan and hate the Lightning like poison, but the Panthers have more depth. Tkachuk is a first liner on most teams as is Marchand and they will likely be a second and third liner respectively, then you have Rodrigues playing on the fourth line!!!! The defense pairings also favor Florida even with Ekblad out until the third game, Forsling will frustrate Kucherov as usual and both he and Jones are offensive threats from the point. Lastly, this version of the Panthers has shown it can beat Vasilevskiy. Let’s go Panthers!!!!

    As a cats fan, this rivalry is both amazing and likely to end me lmao. PANTHERS IN 4, LETS GO CATS BABY! Realistically though, cats in 6 or 7.

    I like both Fl teams; I don't want them to beat each other up and make the second round easier for the Laughs 😅

    Ottawa is not going to be as difficult an opponent as either Florida team. The only saving grace is I expect Bratty to hurt someone and get suspended.

    I like Matthew and Bratty is a talented player; but the 4 nations was the turning point. Matthew, McAvoy and a few others talked a big check and that mofo bounced. Stop talking and show it on the ice.

    Why wouldn’t regular szn results matter? Some systems play better into other systems, giving them an inherent advantage.its not that those changes can’t be overcome or adapted too, but it does present additional challenges. I guess you can say that there’s other factors that could have lead to wins or losses so you’d have to analyze those games.

    I’ve watched both as a fan since 2016. I always said FLA would win a cup if it wasn’t for TBL 2018-2022. Whoever wins this series should be the favourite to win the cup. I had FLA winning last year but this year I think TBL has the edge – bringing back key pieces like Gourde and Mcdonagh was smart. Everyone thinks COL DAL will be best series but I’m going to say TBL FLA will be the best series all playoffs. Let’s get a game 7!
