Pretty wild that Mark made that fateful decision to go play for Hawerchuk in Barrie! Ducky recommends Sheifs, then he gets drafted by us, following Ducky’s path. But he also gets coached by ex-Jets Bowness and Arniel. Then Cole gets his draft announcement from Mrs Hawerchuk. What a connection!
Mark has really grown into a great leader and team player. Taking the young guy under his wing, housing new teammates at his place when they first get here. Really lucky to have a guy like him on our team.
