Oilers need to play Game 3 like it's an elimination game. If they win both Game 3 and 4, then they're likely to win Game 5 back in LA.

A break for Skinner??? Where is she tired of? Always sleeping on the goal and missing three fools from 5-8 shots. Where did he get tired or tense up? The problem is that he doesn't strain at all and isn't mentally ready to play at the NHL level. You talk about him as if you have Patrick Roy, who played all 82 games in the regular season. The yard league has been crying for your Skinner for a long time. He would never have been a starter on any team in the league. You listen to the coach and you realize that this team never had a chance.

In all fairness…the Management got rid of a whole pile of players, then scrambled to get ones just like them and could only sign, low cost injured players, or let's take a chance on, players! Could've signed at least Holloway when he was still coming up from the minors and would have gladly taken a million…instead we go abd get a whole bunch of million dollar ones like J Brown…??? I'm not a super hockey guy and I can see the weakness of those decisions. They got rid of 7 or 8 players after being a goal away from Stanley!!! Stupid moves. We have WASTED two of the greatest assets in the history of the game!!!! Oh well, Katz i guess doesnt mind having a billion dollars laying around or golfing.

The coach is being out coached, and making some wrong decisions imo. Some of them 'Henrique is too slow to be a centermen or to kill penalties. doesn't even win draws, doesn't block shots, Either bench him for Philp or put him on the wing at the very least. Should Frederic play? Looks injured still, cant skate. Arvidsson and Emberson need to be a healthy scratch. Jones should be playing , can skate and hit, goes to the net. Hopefully Stetcher is back next game and take Emberson's spot. Kane or Perry need to take Hyman's spot on PP, and Walman for Bouchard. Didn;t we have success last year with Nuge, Brown, Janmark on pp last year? Insert Kapanen in there, they're more quicker on the penalty kill. And time to play Pickard!

Oiler fans. Let's have a heart to heart conversation. This team was built by Bowman. he let Foegle, Mcleod, Broberg, Holloway, and a few others on our last years roster walk. This was our future that walked out the door. Young players! You also can't replace playoff experience with players that never been there before like Jeff Skinner.
He did not find us a true starter. Everybody warned us that Bowman was a terrible GM. Well they were right. This might make McDavid rethink his loyalty to the Oilers because he doesn't want to sign on a rebuild team. Look at the average of the current Oiler roaster 30's! Hyman is showing his age, and Perry is almost 40.
Arvison can't manage the puck to save his life. Bouchard can't play defense. Nurse is just bad. This team is so flawed that it isn't just on Stuart Skinner. Putting Picard in net behind this team isn't going to save the season. He may win us game 3, but if the Oilers play in front of him like they did in front of skinner it's going to be the same result.
