Leafs fan here… bottom line, playoff hockey is different and for 99% of teams you need reps and then adjust your roster to get rid of passengers. The Leafs have done that. You will start that process when the series ends, you'll be fine
As a leafs fan Hockey is less fun when our rivals suck, It's nice having the Sens back. The Habs are working on it so now we just need buffalo for some crazy series.

Leafs fan here, huge respect for the Sens and the Sens faithful. I refuse to get carried away with this. I was 3-years-old when the Leafs last won the cup. We have had plenty of heartbreak. Game 4 will be the toughest one yet and there is no way in hell this Sens team won’t leave everything on the ice. Anyone who talks about a sweep is getting ahead of their skis. It should be a great hockey game.
I hate to say it boys but despite getting to overtime twice it really, really hasn’t been close.
At least we’re there but we’re still a long, long way off from being a top team.

As a Leafs fan I know what is troubling the Sens because I've seen it up close for the last 9 years. It comes down to coaching and goaltending. Green is not composed, he has made excuses after every loss just like Keefe did with the Leafs. The Sens need a proven Stanley Cup winner behind the bench. And Ullmark isn't cut out for the playoffs. He reminds me of Frederick Andersen, always a bad goal in him every game.

Yea if Ottawa won those OTs they would be up 2-1, just like if the Leafs got an extra goal in any of the Boston, Montreal, Tampa series they would of advanced.

If any team is capable of collapsing and losing a 3 game lead, its the Leafs. The Sens have been really streaky this season and could easily go on a 4 game win streak. Stolarz isn't nearly as good as Sportsnet is making him out to be. The Sens need shots that actually get on net.

Remember when the Lightning were swept 4 straight in the first round……..then came back to win back to back championships? I do. This sucks but, its the only way to get actual experience.
The leafs want overtime. Look at their record it ot during the season
Lol, "in reality if those two overtime periods go differently" …. yeah and if you had a play off caliber team, if your goalie was not the second best one on the ice every night. If … if …. if you could someone not go 15+ minutes in the third with a shot on net, Then maybe the Sens and the refs could have won one of those. Oh wait, it is almost like the overtimes were planned, like it is Craigs coaching style. Oh look, when you look at his history it is his style.
The leafs come out and play at 60%, take the lead and fall to 30%, defend the lead till the win, save your energy for Florida.
Bottom line is the the depth of Toronto is too much for the Sens. Sure you can say that the last two games went to OT and were close, but the leafs have limited high danger chances and they are too deep. Sens need to sign or trade for more depth…especially someone that can finish

Leafs fan here. Sens are absolutely for real. They were the better team for signifcant stretches of the past two games. I expect them to take Game 4, and although I expect the Leafs to win the series, I think the Sens will be good for a while, and I am here for it.

I'm a Leafs fan, and it's nice to hear a podcast from another team. I'm not here to troll; this just popped up in my YouTube feed.
This series hasn't been close. The score may say otherwise, but any honest person watching this series can clearly see who the better team is. It's pure copium to think that a bounce one way or another and the senators would win. In game 2 and 3 when the leafs were leading in the 3rd period they absolutely shut the Senators down, completely. In game 2, you got a deflection on your first shot of the period. In game 3, Stollie let in a softie to tie it.
The senators sound just like the leafs used to when we were getting beat by Florida, Tampa and even Montreal. "Oh, we're close." "At 5v5 we dominated" "The bounces just didn't go our way". The senators have been completely dominated and shove to the outside to limit chances and shot quality. Stolarz has been fine, but it's been the team that has limited the Senators.
I really like the Sens, especially after the Cozens trade. But you guys will be just like us if you keep making excuses and saying "Just a bounce our way and we would've won".
