I'm gonna keep it short! Noesen cost us two goals and Markstrom should have been pulled after the 3rd goal, he was not good. It's over, thx Noesen.
Noessen’s game has seemed to have regressed calendar year 2025. Cotter’s +- has steadily grown worse over the year.

The whole team sucked tonight. Everyone sucked even the goalie. Carolina kick our butt's and jumped on us early. Can't start a game down 3-0. Devils are going to need to make some upgrades this offseason. We down 3-1. Name players you want the devils to go after this offseaosn.
I was at Game #3 on Friday night and at Game #4 today. Complete BS that Timo Meire "purposely ran into the goalie." Thankfully the penalty was reviewed and reversed. But it did not matter. The Canes wanted it more today. The Devils hardly showed up to play even when fighting for survival. The Devils did not want it enough today. Devils need a lot more scoring fire power. Very frustrating. I was very optimistic after the Devils uplifting Game #3 victory. And the Devils put out this dreck today. It is never helpful to give up a goal in the first minute of the game especially when you are fighting for survival. I could not believe my eyes when Noesen failed to simply clear the puck out of the zone and gave up a brutal turnover to Slavin leading to the second Canes goal. Hopefully the Devils show up for Game #5 this Tuesday and stun everyone. What a brutal uphill climb
I’m deflated. Not mad tho. This team is so beat up on the back end.
No offense and it’s shown in every game. Our special teams has been horrendous and it just brings me back to game 2 where we could’ve stole one in Carolina and even with this performance we could’ve been 2-2. Down 3-1 is nothing short but over. LGD but it’s tough to win 3 straight. We lack that offensive creativity and onslaught from Jack and that extra push from Luke. It is what it is.
I stopped watching after we were down 2-0 but I caught the highlights after, I’ve got to say my goodness what a sorry effort that was! Just pathetic. I’m beyond disappointed. It’s not like the Canes were that great either.
Markey failed us. I have nothing
I didn't have a chance to watch game but watched on dvr and boy same story can't score. Marky can't have the pressure every single night having to be close to perfect beacuse we cannot score. This offense just doesn't have th3 firepower. I'm super depressed but this series following exactly the same as last playoff series vs canes. Game 4 is bad for us. Let's see if we can get a w in Carolina and then it's 3-2 we come back home who knows. Guys need to take it to heart and play game of season

Canadiens us senators all heavy underdogs and we are all losing these series.. not a surprise
But bottom line we need to score more goals. It's horrendous. All the weight every game is on markstrom pressure wise
Perfect storm against us right now. Injuries massive. If we have jack Luke others playing maybe we have something diffrent in this series
It's been tough. But have to face reality that we are cursed injured have horrible ownership and a yes man puppet in fitz perfect storm against us. And despite all of this heading into 3rd period today we were a goal away from tying this and then potentially evening this series against a better team. So guys playing hard but the scoring just isn't there. Which is super depressing.
I think guys are going to put a strong effort 💪 hopefully upset canes in game 5. And then get it to game 6 and see if guys can force this back to Raleigh for a game 7 would be awesome. All the pressure would be carolina.

The aggravating among many aggravation I have is ltir is sat on fitz doesn't do a thing ownership could care less. Despite all of this I Don not belive we are ice ages away from being a contender legitimate we just need to score and have guys that can score and belive they will score. Marky can't be perfect every night
Devils are lowest scoring tram in nhl in 1st periods we should have baristas at the ready constantly to let guys know its gametime boys.. infuriating

They need to stop with the dump and chase all the time and keep the puck with the team. They make it too hard for them self when they keep giving the puck away. It worked for them early in the season, but then everyone was chasing and pushing the opponents all game. Now only one guy is barely chasing and giving up before they even tried.
And Carolina can officially rebrand to Carolina Divers.
