  1. Man Bouchard will never get enough credit, instrumental in the oilers run last year and he’s doing it again leading the team in goals and 3rd for points, yes it’s very very early on but this man shows out for the playoffs well done

  2. I’m a Canadian but for whatever reason this version of the Oilers just pisses me off lol..used to cheer for them because they’re a Canadian team but they don’t play all-around hockey. It’s literally just offence that’s mainly centred around being on the powerplay or when the goalie is pulled. They get bailed out 24/7 by two players

  3. I know Bouchard scored 2 goals in this one, but he is a LIABILITY. His offensive turnovers on the blue line this year have been more consistent than the oilers' PP. He's going to lose them a series before this playoffs is done.

  4. The oilers have that disney story book feel now. The kings had a chance to put the heel on the neck of this series, and theyve let the oilers crawl back

  5. LA's goal 2 should have been challenged. They LA player definately used his stick to push the Oilers Goalie's pad out of the way.

  6. i stg the oilers would be a dynasty with kemper level goaltending.

even if we get past the kings i cant see them getting much further with this level of goaltending and defense. at the very least we desperately need ekholm back

  7. I can't say I'm a 'true' Oilers fan, more just a fan of the game and hopeful Canadian, but that OT period is the Oilers team we've all been waiting for. It only took 12 periods, but that relentless, suffocating, dynamic, and high-pressure game all over the ice is what makes them a legitimate favourite to win the Cup. If they play that way from here on out, they will be back in the final.

  8. A few things:
    – How was that 2nd Kings goal not goalie interference?? He literally pushed his pad away then score?
    – Almost every highlight of a good chance or goal from the Kings is against Nurse/Bouchard, how are the coaches not seeing that? At least Bouchard has the offensive ability, so put him with a good defender. Then get rid of nurse for literally anyone else in the league

  9. Kings being Kings in 3rd period as usual…chipping puck to center all night to let edmonton come in..being passive…i mean come on …Forechecking being more more hungry than other team…get pucks deep on offensive zone and be more grittier more passion…weak Byfield clearing attempt

  10. Our defensively play drives me insane, and even our offense does too…never open enough for eachother. But we have heart, and I'm so impressed with our old nemesis Perry…he's so instrumental in these goals, definitely tonight's unsung hero and grinder to get us the dub!

  11. edmonton fans now that bouch scored "hes a top 5 dman forsure" after doing nothing but talking bad about him for the last 5 months
