That Wilson hit was straight out of the '90s
This is what we will get tomorrow if libs are winning the elections.
Definitely a charge—ran at him from halfway across the rink and left his feet. Anderson shouldn’t have just offered to fight, should’ve gone right after him. Either him or Xekhaj definitely need to deck him in game 5. Can’t let a guy get away with a run like that.
Wilson likes to hit the smaller players and then cower from a retaliatory fight
Thank you Ref’s for the non call…good clean hit.
Hit changed the game
A million Canadian voices were silenced
Look how that nice clean hot changed the game! Amazing
Not a Capitals fan, but I love Tom Wilson. What a hit.
That hit shook the whole team.
That was the best hit of the season. Wilson is old school and no matter how much you hate him, you know you would kill to have him on your team.
all the Canadian fans crying about this hit brings me so much joy lol
Some kind of Scott Stevens hit 🔥
I have a question during my time as a hitter in hockey we learned once you leave your feet to hit someone it is to cause injury and is called boarding if you look close to the hit he leaves his feet 2-3ft before the hit. That is why he had so much weight behind the hit. Could have clean hit him Sorry 5min major not called.
The NHL clearly states, "Jumping into an opponent to deliver a check is also considered charging, as it adds unnecessary force to the contact". That hit was illegal. He should have gotten a penalty. He should also be suspended. Wilson is terrified of Xhekaj and Anderson but goes after smaller players. The guy is a scumbag.
Magnitude 43 on that hit!!!!
Hahaha how embarrassing for Montreal
wilson skates towards the action, the puck is loose, wilson goes there, when carrier touches the puck you can see wilson skates areent even moving.. no assault at all.
Great hit.
Wilson is always a big boy when he hits the second smallest player on the ice I notice he wouldn't drop the gloves like a big boy after though would he.

Le hit est 100% légal, si vous êtes pas d'accord sois vous êtes un Fefanne du CH , sois allé écouter la patinage artistique.
Here is the biggest hit!
Anderson, let me make one thing clear if Wilson would have fought you. It would have caused us a goal and not only that, he would f**** destroy you.
Rule 607 | Charging
Charging is the action where a player takes more than two strides or travels an excessive distance to accelerate through a body check for the purpose of punishing the opponent. This includes skating or leaving one's feet (jumping) into the opponent to deliver a check, accelerating through a check for the purpose of punishing the opponent, or skating a great distance for the purpose of delivering a check with excessive force. The onus is on the player delivering the check to avoid placing a vulnerable or defenseless opponent in danger of potential injury.
Anyone care about Alex Carrier? Certainly no one on the Sportsnet panel gives a sh** about a serious head injury that could threaten the livelihood of a relatively young athlete. They were too busy lauding a career goon for a hit that, if not illegal, certainly should be. Even the NFL has outlawed these types of dangerous hits to the head. All those saying 'It's a clean hit", 'keep your head up', 'that's playoff hockey' and assorted other macho B.S. completely ignore the fact that Carrier's head took the full brunt of a hit that was delivered for the sole purpose of inflicting as much damage as possible. Didn't the NHL try several years ago to showcase the skill in the game by calling more penalties? Instead they've reverted back to this crap.
Even my mom felt that hit, and she doesn’t even watch hockey.
