Hello
Nice late night epsiode fellas! Love that the Landing Strip lore/universe keeps expanding to now include Dr. Jim Montgomery and even Ben Bishop 🤣
My belated FFF: the Jets making the much-needed adjustment of getting bodies in front of Binner to take his eyes away from those shots coming in from the point. Both the Nino and Demelo goals wouldn't have converted if not for the net-front presence. Whether it's Jets in 6 or 7, lets gooo!!!
Hey Nik and Mikey….
Such a gutsy win by the boys after Scheifele went down… I was worried when the PBP guys said that Scheif wasn't coming back to the game… hopefully it was just cautionary because he was still playing for a while after those hits happened. I'm sickened and disgusted that St Louis boys have to goon it up when they see a win getting away from them and I know that our "tough boys" are in a tough place because the refs call everything on our guys and they can't risk the captain and others sitting in the penalty box during the part of the game when Scheif was not in the game.
I will add that I thought Lowry with Fetts and Iafallo was a good fit as a line and they did well in the O zone, even though they didn't bury any behind Binner. And Barron stood out in a good way as well, as did that 4th line.
I would love if our boys could finish things up in St Louis on Friday for the sake of all the injuries we are dealing with. But either way, the win yesterday goes a long way to quietening my fears of an early playoff exit for our boys.
Thanks Nik and Mikey. Appreciate the work you guys put into this show, keep up the great work!
