whoa ..that empty net goal was crazy hard fought for … the Sens though definitely played well ..certainly made the Leafs squirm.
I'm low key happy for the Leafs, and honestly really happy for their fanbase. If they don't step it up BIG TIME they're just deisgnated as cat food in a four game feast buffé though.
Sens are on the way. Can see them just getting better from here and I absolutely hope that's the case.

The refereeing in the playoffs has been atrocious. Who's to say what would have happened, but the Senators should have been on the powerplay for the last minute-plus of the game. That was bloody awful the way the ref stood there with his thumb up his ass as a blatant slash to the hands right in front of his face knocked the stick out of the Senators player's hands allowing the defence to clear the zone with the extra attacker out. Naturally, the Leafs score shortly after that. Again, who's to say what would have happened, but from a neutral's perspective, that was a bullshit way for the series to end.
Ottawa showed heart winning the last 2 games…never folded and threw in the towel. Toronto appears grittier vs years past so should be a good series with Florida

Why is the comment section so quiet tonight??? All I read was hate comments in the game 5 section and the game 6 is mostly Toronto fans saying how Ottawa played a hard fought game.
