If Hagel got suspended for that weak ass hit tkachuk better be gone for a game. Even though I don’t think either player should be suspended. Also go bolts.
If the NHL wants to make this more dangerous they'll give Tachuk a pass but that really sucks if they do. Tachuk is a POS

Tampa fan…don’t think there should be a suspension, but I didn’t think Hagel would either. Even though the score was 5-1 the bolts still didn’t play well and need to get it together especially on the PP or Florida will take advantage of playing dirty because they don’t respect it.
Refs need to get their shit together. The amount of cross checks from Florida after the whistle is ridiculous, they did get the rat for one though. Chucky cross check to Kuch ribs, then Kuch gets his legs swept swept by Bennett and Kuch gets a roughing?
Paul gets his stick slashed then cross checked in the stomach, one of the two resulting in a broken stick and he gets a holding penalty.
Cirelli gets an elbow to the face then gets a cross check penalty. I know it’s the playoffs but this is a bit crazy, especially the immediate calls after letting one go.
I dont think its a suspension normally but if it was a suspension last game then it should be today. Plus, its Tkachuk so screw that guy.
I don't think that hit by Tkachuk was even a 5, tbh. Yes, it was late, but it wasn't a headshot. I think they turfed Tkachuk to keep control of the game.
Main difference to me is hagels was a bang bang play… Chuckie watched the pass finish change direction and blow up an unsuspecting player. If jake stays down and acts murdered chuckie is suspended. But hes not a panther he got up and joined the scrum… So chuckie will probably get a bonus for the hit.

If you don't think Tkachuk should be suspended for that hit, then Hagel shouldn't have been suspended either. Both were 2 minute penalties max. The refs kinda screwed themselves with calling Hagel's a 5-minute major because now they are forced to call Tkachuk's a 5 minute. Tkachuk should also be suspended 1-game, just like Hagel was since the DPS also screwed themselves into a corner by issuing a suspension instead of a fine. Either call it evenly or not at all. The only difference between the two hits was that the puck missed Barkov and Guentzel was hit WAY late. Both are worthy of 2 minute minors.
And I'm honestly surprised spotters didn't pull Guentzel into the quiet room, because the hit from Tkachuk was so violent Guentzel's head hit the ice. It was shown on the Lightning broadcast's replay.

If Guentzel rolled around on the floor for 3 minutes you’d view it as just as “violent” as the Hagel hit.

Tkachuk hit was bad. Look at the replay, he knew what he was doing. I would suspend the whole family one game :). Full disclosure, I truly hate the Tkachuk, father included. Theyre trash..
How can you say after the garbage suspension of Hagel they shouldn't suspend Tkachuk? The standard was set. Tkachuk was a far more flagrant Interference.

Barkov didn't look right. Slow to react and avoiding contact like he normally would. He should have been held out of the lineup. Ekblad, welcome back, minus 4. Tkachuk went out of his way for the late hit. That sliding between bob's legs early on told me this isn't going to end well. FL sucks on early day time games. Can't get out of the bars the night before early enough to get up for the game. They really did a we don't want to win game, hope Tampa can't score effort all day long. This series is helping balance the home teams wins. Hoping for a game 4 win for FL, game 5 for Tampa, FL finishes the series in game 6.
It was important to make sure the ref knows he sucks….like you said, in case he forgot….
