    Yeah Connor is right.. and much like the 80s team, there was no back-up goalie or one better than the other. Both Moog and Fuhr shone at different times when needed. Skinner was on it for a time and now Pickard's time to shine. Skinner will again too. That they support and encourage eachother and utilize every member is what makes this team amazing, then and now. Oilers is why I love the game.

    BUT 2 goals allowed after 3 shots ? nothing changed 😂mediocre goalies of Oilers as usual

    Really hope Oilers never lose Connor Brown, Pickard, and Podkolzin. These guys have been incredible. Brown's nonstop hustle, Pickard's clutch saves, and Podkolzin’s energy and presence on every shift as they’ve all stepped up huge. Heart, effort, grit. These are the kind of players who make a difference in the playoffs. Also Janmark, Kaner, and Rico! They’ve earned every bit of love from Oil Country.

    Not seeing Connor get 3 stars recognition in this game seems criminal.

    He got his team on the board (granted: his shot for the 1-1 equalizer bounced off of Henriques chest(?), so naturally "he" was the goalscorer), he made amazing plays, including the assist for the 2-5 game winner, and sealed it all up with his empty netter (4-6), in pretty fashion.
    He had 1 goal, 2 assists, for 3points and a +3 to boot, in 16:12 of ice-time.
    With his linemates (Henrique and Frederic) he combined for 3 goals, 3 assists, 6 points and +5.

    If not for himself alone, honoring that amazing third line, should have warranted giving him a star, as a stand-in for them all.
    What a shame!
