Very entertaining game . Ottawa played a great series as the underdog. Leafs finally got the monkey off their back with Pacioretty filling the hole when Ottawa tied it at two.
Can't wait for the next series, will the Leafs finally make it out of the Atlantic? I doubt it very much!
Matthews keeps stressing that hes not playing for the fans. Stolarz mentioned this too. They are only playing for the guys in the room. Hes really distancing himself from the fanbase. A lot of loyal fans that feel that the team should be playing for us.

Lovely that they beat Ottawa. Now they go out in four straight. Matthews sucks he is great goal scorer in regular season but stinks in playoffs.
Stolarz is fantastic. Great goalie good interview. And we still have Woll as a backup, gosh it's soo nice. Now if only the big guns up front can play great in games 5, 6 and 7….

Give Treleving his due. Picking up Tanev, OEL, Laughton , Carlo and Patches and of course Stolie and Berube the best pickup has completely changed this teams DNA and are built for the playoffs. Something Dubas could never do.
Willy's will power to find the guy that hit him behind the net and track him down to hit him and to stay with that open net goal is the Willy we need.
Boys seem alot more reserved and calm this year. Cheif brings that and doesnt let the boys crack under the pressure! 🙌
Willy we are going to need you 100 percent to lead us against the BAD GUYS in the next series. You cannot do what you did in the early games against Ottawa and wait for Matthews and Marner to lead the team to victory. For whatever reason neither of the M&M boys play well in the post season. Leafs fan here. I do not think the Leafs can beat Florida…….. but I do think they can beat the Canes and the Caps. If by some miracle, they get past the Panthers they have a real shot at a SCF. I cannot see them beating the western teams but Florida is the best team in the NHL, so if that becomes the measuring stick and the Leafs manage to win………….
If we can beat FLA then the East Final will be a piece of cake
