1. I absolutely love that Matty chose Laughton! What an unbelievable character block there at the end of the game… even coach said “That how you win in this league, that’s what it takes”.

    Good luck next round boys!

  2. Best thing about this win (besides going in to round two)…… The Laughton hate train has finally been DERAILED!!!!!!

    This guy belongs here 💙

Beautiful win, buds! Just magnificent! 👌😁
    SMASH LEAFS SMASH!!!!!

  3. So glad to see Lotts get the recognition he deserves. Helluva blocked shot. The guy put his life on the line for that one. I think he would fight his mom to win.

  4. Berube has Laughton on the ice at the end for good reason. And he is giving lots of minutes to Laughton – Lorenz and they are having an effect on the games. Loving it! GLG.

  5. This team is too elite to fail! The lineup has the most elite 2way players in the NHL, and Florida Panthers will decide & define if the SC belongs to you?
    You know what to do:
stick blades on the ice, forecheck, pokecheck, control the faceoff & the neutral zone; and most important play the BOARDGAME N&S!
Never play straight down the ice: that results in turnovers.
To win it's all about "the grind game" til the 3rd period within the last minute of every game.
The only weakness is your goaltending so you need to allow your goaltender sightlines to track the puck.

  6. I swear the NHL has gotten so youth hockey like in recent years. Why do hockey players act like kids nowadays? Grow up alredy. Enough of these corny speeches.

  7. You guys beat a playoff inexperienced, young Ottawa team as the team with the longest playoff streak in the league. Congratulations! You won the easiest series to win! (Bruins fan from toronto btw, so im pissed at how 'surprised' leafs fans are.

  8. The fact that the TML official YouTube channel uses Joe Bowens voice should make all other commentators jealous!!!! He needs to be back on actually TV

  9. amazing to hear papi talk like that. i am loving it. GO LEAFS!! so happy for u guys! keep up the good fight boys! the sacrifice you guys make on the ice… us fans notice and APPRECIATE it. thank you for giving the leafs fans your hearts. you guys have come such a long way from previous seasons. dont forget that.

  10. I wish they just kept doing the belts and not the puck collecting thing. The message at the top is nice though

  11. Both Matthew and Scott were emotional in this video. The team played well as a collective. I'm proud. I hope they are proud of themselves as well. They have a Goliath, the Panthers, to slay, but I believe where there is a will there is a way.

  12. Why do you use Joe Bowen's calls when you don't even give him a fucking BUS PASS to go to Ottawa to cover your away games?

  13. We all called them out after that abysmal Game 4 performance, and they showed up in Game 5. All of them. I knew someone was gonna have to take one for the team. You can argue that Laughton's block is on par with Patch's game-winning goal. Massive, massive, team play there. On to the next one!

  14. Toss up between Patches and Laugts for the belt, I game/series winning goal by Patches is belt worthy, but so is putting your body on the line to block a shot to prevent a goal maybe.

  15. A million times better than the cut and paste interviews. They sound like real dudes rather than programmed robots. Scotty, you're a F'n soldier buddy! Give the Panthers hell boys! GO LEAFS GO! Blue and White til I die!

  16. I love how they came off the bench after the buzzer !! Huge moment but get composure like it was a normal road win in January, didn’t jump the goalie like they won it all

  17. I've never played Hockey but I'm just mentioning that I love it & that Canada wishes all the best for all Canadian teams. The Leafs goalie should remember to maintain his composure when he see's a lose sprint by the other team coming at him and stay in his blue paint as to not have the deek go around him. It is much easier to see what the other player is going to do as his movement tells you his actions and the angle that he is approaching. If you mash him in your blue paint, I'm guessing it ain't no issue, but any other outside of that may be a call. Now for players, when working the puck movement, the two on point at the blue linear should pick on their skate initiative propulsion to move rapid and direct, either left or right. The game needs to be more tight and precision should be the use of your fight & flight. Remember the last game, the fight you put forth to finish and close the series. That's what it takes. No excuses, we know that a young rejuvenated Maples Leafs have all the capacity to Win. Understand that we all feel what we feel but Champions "Don't give F***s, they just Do what is asked and necessary to get the victory". Let's Go Leafs!! How much smarts & fight does the dog have? As much as it wants because the dog has loyalty and is Man's best friend.
