@Oilers d'Edmonton

#Edmontonoilelers #oilers #nhl #stanleycupplayoffs #nhlplayoffs

  1. Pickard has earned the #1 spot on the Oilers and Skinner has earned the start on any ECHL team he chooses

  2. I'd laugh my a$$ off if it was true. Another goalie cast off by the Oilers that will go on to have a decent career as a starter on a team with a decent goalie system, and come back to destroy the Oilers.

  3. It's Pickard's net to lose now. Everyone knows that.

    Skinner may have played his last game in Edmonton………… maybe. Pending how bad Vegas lights up Pickard.

    I can see him being moved out in the summer, but for Swayman? I sure as hell hope not.

    This team needs a reliable, steady goalie. Not superman. They have the offense that, if they have a capable, steady goalie, that is consistent, they can work with it.

    Playing with Skinner in net, you're never sure if you're gonna start the game 0 – 0, or down 3 – 0 before the first 3 minutes are past. It messes up the entire gameplan when you let in 3 goals in 10 shots in the first period almost every night.

  4. Don’t rid of skinner,he just has grow a bigger stash I’m positive that stop a few pucks for sure!😂

  5. My thing is with how the Skinner thing really has been going (apparently) from WITHIN the organization, why-oh-why didn't they just pick up some goal tending before the trade deadline? Doesn't it seem unacceptable given the implications of some of this? At least get Gibson off of Anaheim–though a quality goal-tender like Scott Wedgewood was available late into the years. And I agree with the drift of the thoughts Dolynny articulates regarding the goal tending coaching. Swell old guy or not, the record is not a glorious one of borderline goaltenders getting better and going forward is it? Not after a long stay in Edmonton. But–truth is, these things are about failures off the ice. On the ice, Edmonton is clearly focusing and going forward and as long is Picard is solid–meaning can come back after a bad game and be normal–then they should be going forward even against professional champions as mighty as those in Vegas.

  6. The Oilers are in A win NOW MODE!! The Oilers need a goalie TANDEM that can each win a tight game 1-0 or 2-1 !!! Skinner can be a great goalie , but the OILERS NEED A Goalie that can steal you a game!!! You cant have mishaps this time of year— not when your playing against a Kale Makar / colorado or VEGAS . The Jets won by 1 goal against the Blues— theres NO margin for error in the playoffs ……

  7. From Edmonton area Oh and he helped Oilers get to game 7 The Entire team was disorganized for first 2 games Skinner was supposed to be the back up goalie against Vegas that yr Cambell was supposed to be the number one goalie Have you forgotten already

  8. Playoffs are a whole different game. Oilers are doing well. The players know what has to be done . Lets see how it unfolds going forward.

  9. Vegas is big and dirty. They will look to run up our injury list, and take a body count. Vegas's motto is if you can't beat um, best on um… Edmonton needs Eckholm back badly

  10. I have the conclusion to this goaltending issue.skinner is done in edmonton.once carter hart is exonerated he will be signed by edmonton him and calvin.if not Carter calvin will get a generational contract the man deserves this from edmonton great teammate and player.
