How soon the mid casuals have forgotten the Avs were one of the most stagnant teams in the league before the trade and were literally at risk already of missing the playoffs. Lol. Good lord.
I thought the front office did a phenomenal job this year. It’s natural that fans will be up in arms and pointing fingers because of the end result but they built a team that had the potential to win it all and it took balls to make a lot of those moves knowing this could still happen.

Stars fan here. Your PP didn’t get it done so they did the easy thing… fired the PP coach. It’s the easiest out your management could take. Bednar will get the 20 game assessment next year. Team comes in cold the first 20, they’ll dump him. Also, tbh Blackwood was merely just ok in net. Just not good enough. Not sure how they’re fixing that. I really liked Wedgewood when he played for the Stars. Could give him a more intensive look? Anywho, I’d say “good luck” but I wouldn’t mean it.

Head coach Bednar and GM MacFarland should go as well. Bednar has not gotten this team out of the first round three years in a row. MacFaland can't answer the second center position over the last three years. Not to make a change in the management/coaching and expect a different outcome is crazy. End of story.
The trust is GONE. Change the GM! Dallas got underpriced Mikko because you sticked in your 11.75M which was the worst offer in the market, it would have taken only 250-500k more to keep him. Mac's and Makar's long contracts are just outdated so it was insane to compare those (market prices are different now).
I wanna get some EXPLANATIONS for trading Rantanen. You guys rushed and he ended in Dallas for just 12 million per season (they got the discount because you didn't want to negotiate more). Mikko's worth is 14M in this current market, you guys blew it big time. Rantanen scored 12 goals in 7 games even though Dallas played WITHOUT Heiskanen and Robo. It's more points than all newcomers TOGETHER. FU!

Please – Rantanen sale was a total disaster. You just did not respect a really good professional player and you actually ruined his best friends/co-players trust on yourselves. Bottom line GM made a mistake should’ve kept Miko, Marty’s quick, but it doesn’t put the numbers on the board. Miko proved to you that you were wrong and you should’ve kept him.
