  1. trading Pettersson while his stock is at the lowest is horrible asset management. Better to hire a coach that can use both slowing down the game types and finesse types. there are coaches like that out there. Coaches are replaceable, Elite talent, and thats what EP is when utilized correctly, is unattainable unless by chance, look at the Wings.

  2. #40 will never help you succeed in the playoffs, he cant skate, how did he even get the contract. Why is he still wearing a "A"

  3. In my opinion the feud comes from Horvat getting traded. Management taking sides with tocchet and JT Miller. Pushing out captain at the time that was the core heart and soul. Petterson was good friends with Horvat and most his success was with this core of Horvat hughes. Ricochet knows it was his fault this team fell apart. Tocchet had his favorites and banished good talent and it starting to show with all the guys management traded. Tocchet gave up at the end and didn't want to take the blame.

  4. "Yeah… 11.6 million dollar superstar should be an 11.6 million dollar superstar no matter what the coach is sayin, no matter what the plan is, no matter what the structure is, no matter what the strategies are. You should be that good of a player if you're getting that money."… you said it perfectly here. And sadly, that is not what the Vancouver Canucks have with EP40.

  5. Tocchet,s leaving of course is related to EP40! So, who are Tocchet's players? JT, Garland are the most obvious ones.

  6. Now this is irresponsible commenting. What a load of nonsense. FACT, Rick would never state nor imply anything of the sorts. Professional class acts dont pull this stuff. Shameful!

  7. Toccher has been outcoached in last play off series with Edmondon oiler last year .. I am glad that he left

  8. EP40 is a high IQ player. That's why he is so good. If he is allowed to play the way he wants. He is not Canadian mold.

  9. Leggo. I have to say that pretty well every I have heard you say about Tocchets system, record as a coach of Arizona Coyotes, etc is all true. I believe you are right. Except for EP 40. I still think he is a head case and he should be moved. His actions, demeanour, character should amount to more than what he shows. I believe he will still be a problem of sorts with a different couch. If there is something he doesn’t like in the future I’m not sure he will give it his all. He is now branded as a problem child. He should go play with Pierre Luc Dubois. They are both whiners who deserve each other. Awe. Maybe I’m being too hard on Dubois

  10. See Tocchet no longer here, Peyey is with us. Summer of trades to get more grit on the wings will be number one thing. Trade Willander for Xhekaj ,trade Hughes for Powers ,McLeod and Ruski D in Sabers AHL Xhekaj will protect Petey, Xhekaj will have 50 plus points season.

  11. Personally, i think Rick moving on is a great thing. His system didn't work… change was needed

  12. Wild idea but you should've made an actual channel for this content instead of using legorocks99 which makes no sense and for the millionth time stop putting your gameplay for the visuals. You could put up the actual quotes on screen and have some b roll of the person in question talking or playing. I dont subscribe but keep getting your videos showing up in my feed sorry for the negativity.

  13. EP40 is not a Canuck

    Nothing about him says Canuck

    A Canuck

    Has Character
    Brings consistent Effort
    Has Heart
    Has time for fans

Of the stars recently of the Canucks

Horvat was a Canuck and a captain at that !!!

    Miller was a Canuck!

    Boeser was a Canuck!

Tanev maybe not a star but just viewed around the league as a Premier shut down Right Shot D… he was a Canuck!

All these guys run out of town…

Hughes is a Canuck how long before this toxic franchise pushes him out? If he doesn’t already have one foot out the door…?

When your team is called Canucks and you only have one star that is considered one, what is your identity?

“ the most players last name Pettersson in the league “ …

    Good job Alvin 👏👏👏

This team can’t even pick a logo & colour scheme and stick with it.

Go to any other NHL Canadian arena and you can tell which barn the game is being played at just by the jerseys in the stands.

    Canucks = no identity

This team flips and flops on jerseys just so Aqua can make his $$

Pretty sure that’s the main reason they kept 40 over Horvat and 40 over Miller

Jersey sales, would not surprise me the least.

This organization does not care about character because the owner has none.

Why would I want to coach this “team”

Because of Hughes? Enjoy the next 18 months of still having him.

Because of “Pettey” a sarcastic diva ? No thanks

The top 6 was already light / missing scoring with Miller and Boeser on it, take those 2 out and the top 6 is now a joke !!

Hughes still doesn’t have a RD partner, a full year with Myers at his side and the 43 looks like he’s 45 years old.

    2 solid Goalies
    10 bottom 6 forwards
    2 top 6 FWD’s
    3 top 4 D
    6 bottom pair D

Yeah wow I wonder why Tocchet is happy to go somewhere else.

    Travis Green wasn’t the issue
    Rick Tocchet ain’t the issue

    This owner is the issue.

  14. Tocchet used the Canucks as a stepping stone…Petey was legit great when he signed the extension….makes no sense.
