  1. Lilleberg gotta go. We ran 7D all playoff there’s no way there isn’t a forward we could have called up that could have preformed better. Power play also lost us this series

  2. No shame going out against the Panthers — they're better this year than last year, and we all know what happened then…

  3. I always say WHEN a team goes out bears little impact in how good a team is.

What matters is WHO beats them.

The Panthers are just really really deep and talented.

  4. Coach is a humble guy
    Defense
Need better two way forwards and defense needs a huge improvement. We dont have the defense to pull a goalie. Hedman had trouble all season keeping the puck in the zone, Mac was amazing and Lilleberg is learning fast. JoJo is not playoff level, thats why he didnt play any of it. Need a better backup goalie that can handle a playoff game or two to give Vasy a rest.

  5. Better get tougher playoff players or you’ll get humiliated run at and bounced in the first round again! Make some trades
Bullshit it wasn’t your time this was the 2019 group then we got Luke Schen and Patty !

  6. Here’s the exit door coach…. I wish you sincerely the best of things in Utah unless you’re up against the bolts. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

  7. He has two Stanley Cups amongst the ups and downs of losing outcomes in post season hockey. He has been a remarkable presence on this Tampa bench. I always look forward to watching his participation. His calm demeanor..and his ready anger in moments defending his team as needed. I think he’s an awesome coach.

  8. Need a culture change. We need to be tougher. Cooper needs to be held accountable. 3 year in a row first round losses is unacceptable. This team is getting worse.

  9. He talks past tense too much! I observed a team with zero fire minus a couple of players! Kucherov is a playoff liability.. he sulks instead of rising to the occasion when things aren’t easy! The one player that concerned me the most was Point. His effort was really poor he looked uninterested for most of the series. When Vasy, Kuch, and Point with the 9.5 million piece salary are the worst players on the team you’re in big trouble

  10. Shittiest round of playoff hockey ive seen since we got swept by Columbus, the absolute worse, you should be embarrassed by this, im embarrassed as a fan

  11. Absolutely love Cooper . As a coach; as a person . I'd give up 3 first round picks to have him coach the Leafs. I say that despite admiring Berube quite a bit .

  12. I think your team lacks leadership without Stamkos and you should now be looking for another goalie as Vas is on a slide. He was terrible against Florida. But they wouldn't have beaten Toronto anyway.

  13. Tampa had such a great run after the new year and the 4 Nations. They seemed unbeatable and I believe that most people, myself included, assumed the series vs Florida would go 7 games. Unfortunately for Tampa, Florida was playing rope a dope late in the season and then got their injured and suspended guys back, all key players. Also, Vasilveskiy went cold at the worst time. As they say, the coach can’t hop onto the ice and make a save. Cooper is a class act and I expect the team will be back and probably learn from this experience and be the better for it. Also, maybe, just maybe, they will convince Vasilvskiy to do some load management rather than play so many games including all the way down the stretch.

  14. Leafs fan since birth but have always liked the Lightning in different eras growing up. I respect this core group a lot in recent years and the game that they play. John Cooper is also a great coach and seems like a pretty honourable person. I routed for them a lot with all the past first round exits I experienced with my hometown team. Hope they bounce back even stronger next year- (unless when facing the Leafs of course). Lol! Much respect to this guy though for real
