    Good deal for both the Flames and Tkachuk–he needs to get up to speed in camp now and earn those Dollars–looking foward to seeing if his numbers(already good) go up.

    Wow now that makes sense,, listen up dubas and learn something….7 million for tachkuk. .. not sure if I spelt the name right. I said 8 mill and not a penny more. Dubas overpaid marner by almost 4 mill. Dubas has to be fired.

    Looks like Brayden Point was the real domino to fall. At a REALISTIC number lol. No other RFA is signing for 10 million or higher unless Colorodo wants to be just as stupid as (T) one (O) of (R) these (O) other (N) teams (T) that (O) I didn't mention lol

    About time.. Calgary front office finally got their heads out of their *ss*s…
    He has already produced career numbers greater than Wilson of the caps.. and did not have linemates of ovi and kutz caliber.. Wilson makes poor puck management decisions, cannot produce and does not habe the hockey IQ matthew has.. and makes 5 mil a year.. yeah he can make cheap, dirty hits and fight… 5 mil a season over his contract? Their front office made a pure decision on his contract and will be strapped into cap issues and resignings for the next few years, just like this last season.. That pay is not to do that.. it's a great thing for the newer, more talented pool that actually produce to win games..
    So that is a nice bridge contract for Matthew..

    In his interview he basically said he wants to stay lobg term with the Flames. Hope so, he's the next Captain.
