    This team has more holes than a lot of sabres fans want to admit.

    Forwards: They need a top six winger and a second line center as i don't think Norris can be counted on to play a full season. They also need a better bottom 6.

    Defense: 3-4 d-men depending on what happens to Byram and Samuelsson.

    Goalies- UPL is not a starter, and Levi hasn't proven he can be an NHL #1 yet. I'd say someone like Denko, but his injury history mixed with the sabres underwhelming medical staff could equal disaster.

    It will be 15 years and counting.

    if the islanders want to go into a rebuild, i would like to see buffalo try and trade their first to the islanders and figure out a way to get barzel.

    Sabres fan here , new owner would be nice but thats not happening anytime soon! Rumours have Pegula hiring a " senior advisor to hockey operations " very soon . Ill believe it when I see it! If it happens hopefully it is someone who has GM experience and he could take over for Adams when his contract expires next spring . Brian Burke , Jarmo Kekelainen or Rob Blake are guys id like to see get the job.Whoever is the new GM , Pegula needs to let him spend to the cap!
    First job should be to hire a new D coach as Marty Wilford shouldve been fired when Granato was. 30th in goals against last season! . Next job should be to trade their first round pick , 9th overall for a veteran stay at home D man to partner Owen Power. Lastly go after UFA Marner or Sam Bennett on July 1st and most likely trade Jack Quinn and Bo Byram who apparently wants out of Buffalo. Thanks for the video.

    Needs. New gm and cash spent on players. Get rid of the supper soft no touch players that constantly get punked of the puck. No more euros that refuse to try to win puck battles on the boards and only defend with one hand on the stick.

    Pegula will not bring in anyone that is going to tell him how to run this team, this is the most dysfunctional franchise in all of sports. If we were serious about winning, an experienced GM would be here and we haven't had that since Punch or Scotty Bowman. It will be the same old crap next year. We have no business even picking in the 1st round this year, trade the damn pick use some so called great assets we have and bring in a skilled forward or another D man for that loser Power. We have the softest team in all of sports.

    3. New asst coaches
    4. Legit #1 tender
    5. Top 4 defensemen
    6. Top 6 winger
    7. Improve special teams PP & PK
    8. Resign JJ & McLeod & Levi
    9. Trade #9 , Quinn , Samuelson, and Bo or Power not both and maybe even Greenway.
    10. Healthy Norris . To see truly what we have with him.
