I think the team plays more relaxed with Stew in net. They came out hard and got there lead then relaxed or went home or whatever they do when they get a lead. With Pick in net they seem to keep the pressure on. Makes no sense to me at all why guys that are being paid what these guys get paid can’t give 100% for a whole game. It’s like 20 minutes every second day. Such a strain. I noticed them standing in front of Stew again instead of applying pressure to Vegas. I don’t know, is skating hard not in their contract? Come on guys let’s not be losers. Go Oilers

Tonight's loss is not only on Skinner. Draisaitl had some miscues and team defense collapsed again. However, Skinner cannot play another game for the Oilers. It's no longer a question of whether he's good or not. It doesn't matter. The team has lost confidence in him and will always second guess him going forward. The time for a new starter was at the beginning of the season but the GM screwed up big time by not addressing this position. He'll have a few months after the playoffs to find Skinner's replacement.

Skinner is a fundamentally flawed goalie playing with very low confidence. I've never seen a goalie so poor on his edges. He slides out of position so often it's almost expected now. In close, instead of leaning forward and taking away the bottom of the net, he fell over backwards 2 times yesterday. He got easily opened up on the five hole goal, you could have rolled a bowling ball through it.
Fundamentally flawed. He needs a new goalie coach to learn a different style if he wants to revive his career. Maybe shave the mustache or something. 🤷🏽♂️

What did you expect when you put Skinner in the gate??? What else needs to happen to make it clear to you that this goalkeeper SHOULD NEVER play in any Oilers games. Should McDavid leave? Do you have to be eliminated from the playoffs year after year because of this incompetence in goal? He hasn't improved his game one percent, his game is deteriorating, he doesn't think, he doesn't learn, he plays disgusting, he doesn't care how hard the team tries. He broke the whole team again. If you think this is nonsense, no, this sport depends on the emotional mood of the players and you destroyed it by putting this goalkeeper. They wrote to you a hundred times how he would play, and he played like that, setting up the whole team. The simplest shots and he misses everything, it's disgusting to watch how opponents play, having studied his game, that the Kings, that Vegas just throw from the blue knowing that he will let in. At an important and necessary moment, you just broke your team with this match. Picard would have played better even with an injury. The stupidest and most disgusting decision of the season, of the last three seasons, was to put the league's worst goalkeeper in this crucial match.

People think this is on Skinner? Nurse's only play is to wildly toss the puck out of the Oilers' end regardless of the situation; McDavid and Drai were on the ice for all 4 goals against; Maybe the captain and the ass't captains need to step it up. And let's not forget that Skinner got them to the finals last year.
