I've been a Habs fan since 2013 and Juraj Slafkovsky is NOT Galchenkyuk, Drouin or Kotkaniemi…He is still only 21 coming off back to back 50 point seasons and I thought peformed well in the Playoffs…I see Montreal trading Slafkovsky about as likely as Caufield or Suzuki so just no disrespect or hate but as a devoted Habs fan can we stop with this absolute bs?…

He should have looked at that trade proposal, Laughed, And moved on… Buddy makes a video about it like this could actually happen 💀… Juraj Slafkovsky has 200 games played 42 goals, 69 assists, 111 points just turned 21… Joe Thornton 3 years into his career had 217 games played, 42 goals, 66 assists, 108 points… I’m not saying Juraj will be as good or comparing him to Thornton, I’m only pointing out that it takes time, And Juraj will be damn good very soon… Lafrenière with the draft hype at the time put aside doesn’t have the potential Juraj has and it’s not even close, We are seeing what Lafrenière is right now, He may have some seasons where he touches 70 points, My opinion Juraj can be a steady 70+ point player probably in the 80s more times than not… Absolutely no way you trade him for a smaller player who will not play the same power forward game Juraj will play. Lafrenière hasn’t touched a 60 point season yet, Juraj will probably touch that next season for his 21 year old season. Because Juraj was born after January this past season was his 20 year old season, Next season will be his 21 year old season and will hit more points than Laf has ever hit prior, Maybe Laf has a good season next year Idk, But the potential with Juraj is just too high compared to Laf for this to even be looked at seriously… We are commenting so I guess this video worked lmao… Laf by the way at 216 games played which is 3 seasons where Juraj is now, Laf had 216 games played, 47 goals, 44 assists, 91 points.
