Love that he said “everyone thinks they know how to coach or how to manage”. That’s the thread running through a lot of the fanbase right now.
By all accounts hes a players coach which might help us land free agents or keep good young players.

theres several key positions the flyers have to address, and they know it. but getting the coach right is a nice step in the right direction,
Until this Corporation owned team starts spending money like the top 2/3s of the league they will always suck. Until then, they will forever remain one of the worst owned and run teams in the NHL. Fans keep showing up and out, so things will never change.
Flyers would be better off with Boucher in net than the current lot.

I wonder what Crispy is thinking these days, remembering that 17-year-old kid who came into training camp in 1981.
Spending a year or so watching and re-learning the Flyers org, I came away realizing how many issues this org is laden with. One glaring and frustrating one was the coaching staff didn't know how to win on a consistent basis. Throw away the ol' hockey manual, and do what works. Sadly, this team has only one direction to go…up, being at rock bottom of the league.
