Matthews and Marner can be traded, JT can go to free agency. Golden Knights won a cup without players on their team like Marner and Matthews. People defending Matthews saying he's playing defensively are delusional. Matthews wasn't drafted to play defense. He was drafted to score lots of goals during regular season and lots of goals during playoffs.

If Stolarz is healthy for game 7. Why play Woll. You don't think Stolarz would be extra determined to eliminate a team that INTENTIONALLY tried to end his series. He would be fired up and good to go ""IF" he is healthy and it gets to game 7

Laughton was useless all season had a lil spark in the playoffs. The D has been great Simon Benoit is improving every game. Tanev is a beast. McCabe is the grit and added toughness. YOU need OEL and Reilly to move the Puck. Kamph is injury prone. Robertson can't stay consistent. Domi thinks he is a playmaker when he should be grit and throw everything on net. Jarncrok and Holmberg (WEAK) You can get Value back for Robertson and McMann everyone talks about Marner and Matthews. but they praise the strides McMann made. YET noone is talking about how absent he has been all playoff series. YOU need 4 lines rolling.
We need goals and defence. Dumping on Woll isn’t right. You can win a game if you score goals too. It’s not Bobrovski, the Leafs beat themselves.

I am not up on all the rules – but can’t the league see the extent of injury to Stolarz? The main question why can’t they penalize Bennett. They should have had to remove their main goalie for each game our goalie was unable to play plus suspend Bennett for the remainder of the series. Naive I know. Love to know if there is a time limit on rulings ( kind of late now).
Common guys they just don’t fight for the puck they are loser’s know battle afraid to get hit afraid to hit look at the fist 2 periods they fight the last 6 minutes a game it is not 6 minutes it is 60 minutes

Unfortunately, I was at the game last night ($1300), and the only people in blue on the ice that were in unison were the snow removal crew. It was the worst sporting event I have ever had the misfortune of watching, and I'm a Cowboys fan as well. That says it all.
They won't be getting any Ref Breaks in Florida that's for sure…
this team is a joke. The organization is a joke. I've seen dead bodies with more life in them then this team of stiffs. City of Toronto deserves better. But I hate to say it, be prepared for another let down.

Wrong. Stolarz is by far superior to Woll
really you do not think it is on Woll and yet Woll out of all the 5 games he has played in this series has only one good game and all the other's he sucked badly in. You guys must be Woll fan boys or something to think he has been doing a good job. His only good game in this series was the 2 – 0 loss in game 4. Every other game his save percentage and goals against are a joke. You also must be Marner fan boys as you hardly mention anything he does wrong on the ice which is a lot. His dump no look passes that always go to the other team for odd man rushes against and usually cost the team a goal or two a game because of his bad play. He avoids any physical contact whatso ever. His no look passes have been a problem for him his entire career and yet not one coach has been able to correct this to have Marner play a "smarter" game. Sounds like Marner is "uncoachable". Also, Marner missing a lot of his defensive assignments causing more goals to go in. The defensemen have played great this series. However, the entire team and coach are to blame for game 6 disaster. I think they are used to being out of the playoffs by then, so they forgot they had a game to play as the farthest this core group has gone is game 5 of the second round. They need to let Marner walk and save the 11 million and use it elsewhere. I said this years ago that any team with Reilly on defense and Marner at forward will never win a cup. Reilly's defensive game is one of the worst in the league having finished dead last on the team for plus/ minus the past 2 seasons shows this. And they have him on the top D pair which means he plays against the other team's top line, talk about bad management. They should have him on the 3rd D pairing to limit his minutes so he can not hurt the team as much defensively and leave him on the power play. Also, this nonsense of having 5 forwards on the top PP unit is why they keep getting shorty handed goals against. Marner needs to be demoted to a lower line as well for his bad play and missing coverage. Robertson is about the same size as Marner so put him on the top line and Marner on the 3rd or even 2nd line. It was a huge mistake not to play Woll more in the final stretch of the season. Woll having no game time in the past 3 weeks before he played in game one as relief was again bad management because he was so cold from not playing. A this point why bother with any analysis. This core group is not built tough enough to be able to come back on Florida to win two straight at this point.
How much truth is there to some scuttle butt that Tavares will go to Montreal …
