If the Leafs win tonight and the series it will likely be due to: Knies [ future Captain], Nylander getting most goals, Tavares and Max P [secondary scoring], the defence and Woll plays mistake-free [not perfect but no give-aways and or soft goals], 1 goal per game by the 3rd or 4th liner. Domi- IF AT ALL-plays only if we're desperate for a goal. Place OEL at the top of the PP. And aside from on the PP or PK, Matthews or Marner won't be of any a significance. But above all, the Leafs MUST score 1st in both games. These are not new or insightful thoughts, but my thoughts nonetheless.

Man…. Morgan sounds depressed. That's not the tone of a guy/team thats been able to flush that stinker away and is going into Game 6 with more fire in the belly. At least fake it, yeesh – the Panthers are going to feast on them again if they're not going into the game with the same swagger as games 1/2/3
How about forfeit the stretch pass, come out as a five man unit from your own zone, finished your checks, shoot more, pass less. Do all these, you will still lose but at least you’re putting in an effort which I can live with. 😂😂😂😂

Toronto desperately needs to create more space for Matthews. Put him with Nylander, he'll make it happen. Robertson could be a good third wheel. His speed should further help create space. Demote Marner down to the Bottom 6 where he can bring a little playmaking to their energy lines and stop killing plays in the Top 6.

If its the same effort as the last game, they should swap out the roster with the Toronto Marlies squad, they wouldn't be any worse 🤨

They should bench Matthews and Marner and Taveras and trade them all to some rainbow colored team.
The Leafs have serious shortcomings, not sure if it's even possible any more but they need to play with some heart. Meet the tough play with their own tough play. When you look around the remaining teams I see toughness and that is in short supply in Toronto. I also see teams where their best players are stepping up and being their best players, another thing Toronto lacks in the playoffs. I'm hoping for serious changes over the summer and I mean in the "core 4", it just isn't working in the playoffs. They seem to struggle under pressure.
Withhold salaries if anyone screws up. All players on the team fined 100 k if they don't win the series.
