Personne ne peut défendre ces perdants absolus

Sur les Maple Leafs, la porte arrière a donné le coup de pied dans le match 7 contre les Panthers de la Floride.

  1. Leafs fans, email me your reaction: eckhartsladder@gmail.com
Audio and/or Visual preferred over text! I want to include in a future video

  2. Willy is by far the best performer in these games.

    Let Marner walk.

Auston’s C has to go. He’s not a captain. He’s not. Don’t care if he was injured. Saying the team had “too many passengers” when you’re supposed to be leading that team (so even if true that’s partially your fault) AND you’re the biggest mf passenger yourself should be enough to get the C stripped right off your jersey. You don’t win with a captain like that. You don’t.

  3. 4:24 Woll played fine. After game 3 the Leafs scored: 0, 1, 2, and 1 goals. Leafs’ fans could blame Bennett for the loss via causing injury and be mad at the league if the team gave they any foot to stand on. They didn’t. They were outplayed in all 4 games they lost, and 2 of them they were absolutely bitch slapped. Both in their own barn. The Leafs’ lost cuz they were the worse team.

  4. Is it just me or are the Oilers the only Canadian team these days that actually try to win the cup? Like, acktually work their asses off to get to the ultimate celly?

  5. I for years have rooted for the Leafs to fail. Not this year. I feel horrible for their fans they don’t deserve this or these types of performances. Blow it all up. It’s not funny, even as an outsider, anymore.

  6. Harold Ballard's "loser" psychological damage LIVES. Woll was not the starter, good but not good enough. No chance versus the defending Cup Champs. Not a bad season overall, Eck. And the "loser" who threw his Leaf jersey onto the ice in disgust Game 7, was properly dealt with, I should think.

  7. A bloated corporate entity with more assistants than some large companies. Corporate hockey, corporate thinking (making Matthews captain- it`ll attract the younger fans!) No lunch pail gang, no bangers, no grit. The wealthiest and softest team in the NHL…

  8. The Curse of Harold Ballard will ensure that the Stanley Cup never returns to Toronto. The fitting dagger in this dismal season will be the Make Beliefs fans seeing Marchand hoist the Stanley Cup.

  9. The fans should seriously start boycotting the Leafs and stop attending the games once attendance drops then you’ll see them start to play better and stop watching them on tv also to send a message

  10. Matthews is hurt! Regardless, Mitch is likely gone now. He should waive. San Jose, Anaheim have the picks and prospects to make it happen. Sign grimey Sam Bennett as your 2nd line C

  11. Sorry guys, not buying it. If the NHL is going to allow Bennett to deliberately injure the team's top goalie with no discipline, the players will feel betrayed, whether they are consciously aware of it or not. Moreover, deliberately injuring the opponents' top players seems to be an effective strategy but it totally undermines the legitimacy of the results. Bennett did the same thing against Marchand (now his teammate) last year to secure a series win against the Bruins. Leaf fans should be dejected but not for the loss – the NHL results are spurious…..phoney!

  12. If you look at the stats, Tavares was a huge disappointment compared to Matthews, Marner, Nylander.

Always liked the guy for his steady production, but this time of year you want guys who will “chew through the post to score a goal” (as Sheldon Keefe was described in his playing days) vs. guys you stop noticing out there.

  13. THE NHL HAS TURNED INTO NOTHING BUT A MONEY MACHINE…THE GAME OF HOCKEY IS LAST ON THE LIST

  14. I feel it’s not a coaching issue more or so the players marner breathes stupid, Mathew can’t lead while his stats speak for themselves in the playoffs. You have JT wanting another cup run even though he is a lower role personal give him the C, and the team is just surrounded by the three super stars they can’t make improvements. Most of the players when I watched them can’t figure out how to handle a puck after they make it to the playoffs, the players from top down need to be rearrange entirely instead of focusing on your top stars. Instead of blaming the coach at this point. Players are making coaches get fired not the coach himself, he has tried everything in his power players can’t put ego aside and put team first.

  15. Here is how to get the Leafs to win the Stanley Cup.
One early fact: They are sitting on a long, long waiting list for Leaf season tickets…..a long, long line. That does not make winning
    the Cup a huge priority.
Solution: Put an expansion team in Oshawa, Mississauga or some other close by area and siphon off the wait list for Leaf tkts.
Watch that expansion team make the playoffs and advance a round or two (now that may take a few seasons or more,
but when it does, many of the Leaf fans will be willing to jump loyalty to the new team.
The Leafs will then do what is absolutely necessary and build a real, honest to God contending team And lo and
    behold…..they win the Cup.

  16. I made an honest comment on the Jets hockey forum about them barely beating the Blues in double OT Game 7 round 1. No way would they beat Dallas. The OP banned me within 16 minutes! 🙂

    Crybaby Jets fans.

  17. There is zero incentive for the team to win the cup. They are maxed out on salary. They need to get rid of some high priced guys who can’t produce in the playoffs. They have the biggest fan base and they take it for granted. I would rather cheer for farm team players who give it their everything. Domi gives it his all and a few other do but some of the key guys just don’t deliver when they need to. Is disappointing cheering these guys on when they never deliver in the playoffs. Make some trades for players who understand playoffs.

  18. Frustrated like every Leaf fan.I also feel bad for Leaf fans that have watched nothing but failure since 1967. A young and rising team in 2016 and up to now, nope, nothing. Questioning myself, why am I a fan of this team?

  19. This was a good playoff year for the Leafs. Remember the bad ones for comparison. In fact this was the best of the Matthews Era.

  20. Im just glad the Leafs are the only team I cheered for growing up. Everyone else I cheered for went on to be winners and champions even through the criticism and doubt
Leafs will always be that one loser Franchise that I cheer for that I can make Jokes about being Losers cause I know what Winners look like. LeBron and Ovechkin Winners
Even my Toronto Raptors became Winners before the Leafs. How pathetic

  21. Fan since 2004. But started losing interest in 2013. Haven’t watched a single Leafs game in its entirety since. Subscribed to Sportsnet to see this Leafs this playoffs and they performed as I suspected. We have Winnipeg in my province now but I just can’t get hooked on them. Go Edmonton!

  22. If they wanted to, Toronto could simply buy out Matthews' contract and cut him loose. He has demonstrated year after year that he's not willing to work during the playoffs, and his stats are proof enough of it. If he's not willing to work, then he shouldn't be on the team. Simple as that.

  23. What's the difference between the Toronto Maple Leafs and a mosquito? Eventually a mosquito stops sucking.

  24. Im just going to watch the Marlies, Sceptres and my local OHL team from now on. I know im still supporting MLSE by watching the Marlies but screw it. At least those guys give a crap

  25. As a Canadian fan of another team I was actually cheering for these fucks for being a Canadian team. I feel for their fans the team gave up last two periods
