I don't know why the coach would put in a player prone to penalties, early in the season it doesn't matter do much. Even last 2024 at the end of the season he made penalties. He is known for a short temper I don't think he can handle end of the season playoffs.

Perhaps play better a whole game and stay out of the penalty box and practice some powerplay moves
