This series is over. That game yesterday was men against boys. Total dominance. They need to change some players (especially in the middle). That centre core is way to weak.

In both games they needed to show up in the first period and they did not. Lack of focus, lack of proper preparation.

Canes are a good team, but they lack that scoring stud. They should have signed Gentzel, look what he did with the Lightning. They get Mikko and again fail to secure his services. They know what the problem is, and they make a move to address it. Ultimately and strangely they screw it up. They also know Freddie Anderson is only going to take you so far. I don’t like the Management of the team. They are close but that only counts in horse shoes. The window is closing, Burns is a big part of that team and he is going to retire. Goaltending and depth on defense is starting to show.
The Canes have no business being on the same ice as Florida. It's embrassing how bad they are compared to Florida. Carolina needs to make MAJOR changes this off season
The canes are not winning this series, but damn it they can make Florida earn it and pay a price. Game 2 was beyond disgraceful. Eliminate the self inflicted wounds, be sound, and go down swinging.
