  1. That's the fourth time the Stars have been shutout in these playoffs. Has to be some kind of record for a team getting this far.
Without Ott, they wouldn't even be here. He has been very good, but also very lucky. And you know how it goes with luck….

  2. Dallas doesn’t deserve to advance again. How many shutouts against them this postseason? Go Edmonton!!

  3. Oilers aren't my team but I'm glad they finished like they should have in game 1. I'm wondering if the officials went over to the Dallas bench after the first period to warn Drama Duchene and the Dallas Divers (sounds more like a band!)? They started that crap again in the first but it was gone in periods 2 and 3. This series should have been 4 straight but….

  4. Haven't cheered for the oilers for a long time, since Gretzky was traded, on the band wagon now. Good game. 👍 eastern Canada here..

  5. Great game by Edmonton!!
Only bad thing is having to listen to Chris Cuthbert doing the play by play – worst broadcaster ever.

  6. Dallas finally playing a real team, their age will show more as the series goes….Ben is done after this.

  7. Stu is not the issue… it’s how the team plays around him. In the losses they have been taking penalties and not killing them effectively, unlike tonight. They took a few penalties, but killed them.

  8. Canada's team looking sharp. Will we have a final series re-match with the Panthers? Is this the year McDavid hoists the Stanley Cup? Go Oilers Go!

  9. Oilers are so very clearly the better team, at 5 on 5 I don’t even get how Dallas is still in the playoffs they look so outmatched

  10. The Skinner saga continues. 6 goals against on 20 shots or a perfect shutout? Roll the dice and find out

  11. The Oilers got the split, which is great. But, with that said, they really should have buried the Stars in both games. They had the opportunities to be up 4 or 5 goals going into the 3rd period of both games. The Oilers need to be more greedy and to be more clinical and deadly in their finishing—too many posts, missed nets and passed up shots. They have the ability to make this a short series.

  12. Stars were sloppy, lazy and predictable. I counted at least eight times their stupid offensive zone drop pass turned into a defensive zone exit pass for Edmonton that turned into an odd man rush. It was bad.

  13. the 5 minute was knocked down to 2 because; A stick came into contact with the left shin guard, B; it was not a slash,

  14. BEHIND EVERY GREAT VICTORY IS A HARD FOUGHT BATTLE The Oilers could have scored more goals great win for them

  15. Oilers have dominated 5 out of 6 periods, Stars fans acting like they have a shot is so funny.

  16. 9:53 Ah! Taking a slapper straight in the laces! That's a special kind of pain. Makes your whole foot feel like your just tried to kick a bowling ball. Usually doesn't do any structural damage but hurts like a SOB right when it happens.
