I’m verrrry disappointed that I heard no vitriol & no planned revenge against the Raleigh Whalers aka CheataCanes 😡 In a back-to-back: Dec 27 we won won 4-2 at home, & at that point the Devils looked like maybe the best team in the league. Dec 28 lost 5-2 on the road at Carolina. Our season was ruined – not just because of the loss, but the way we lost. Then we lost 7 of the next 9 to start new yr 🤮 Memo to Keefe & Kompany: I seem to be the only one who remembers that the Hartford “Wailers” faked an injury (with the refs help) at the punk-coach Brindamour’s direction, & the scumbag who was “injured” came back immediately to help the Canes “win.” If the Devils would’ve won that game the Wailers would’ve been in our rearview mirror, & who knows – maybe we win the Presidents Trophy. Anyway, I’m still livid that the injury faker didn’t wind up in a Raleigh hospital with a real injury inflicted by McDermid or Dillon. The Devils better avenge this right at the start of Game 1! No Cane should’ve gotten off the ice in one piece after that travesty on Dec 28, which btw is the last team the teams clashed. Why do I seem to be the only one who comprehends this?? Brindamour’s punkass son better have his head on a swivel. As David Puddy would scream: GO DEVILS!!! Let’s incarnate the physicality of Scott Stevens!!!
