Last time leafs won TVs were black and white, and people riding around getting groceries in horses and there were no fridge, at least we had light bulbs when they last won! 😮
I didn't watch a single regular season NHL game. I got on the band wagon temporarily during the playoffs. You just can't get your hopes too high if you're a Leafs' fan. Stolarz out in game one, experienced Panthers team with that killer instinct how to close out a series…oh well…the hockey gods just won't give Toronto a break.
I quit watching the leafs back when Boston beat them in game 7. Leafs were up 3 goals in the third and lost that Fckn game! I haven’t watched a leafs game since and my jersey has been sitting in the closet for 10-15 years
Typical leafs, I’ve never seen a team suck so much in playoffs as the leafs. The problem is, leaf fans are too loyal that no matter how shitty they play, they’ll still pack the arena, buy the merchandise and cheer them on. If you really want to stick it to them, stop going to the games. I personally don’t expect the team to improve during the playoffs, Matthews is a terrible captain, shows no leadership or accountability, Mitch Marner can’t handle the pressure of the playoffs and I heard recently that the fans put too much pressure on them, what a bs excuse that is, if the team can’t handle the pressure from the fans, then don’t play professional sports. If I were the owners of the leafs, they would have earn their paycheques before getting one and the pay would be based on their performance, not this give them $50 million then they don’t do their job or they play like 💩. Joesph Woll needs to go. Matthews, Marner and Riley all need to go.
