  1. Would’nt trade Eric Staal for five Jordan Staals. 2 points over 15 games . Rip the C off his chest and bury him in the minors or Carolina will never win. This guy was lucky to be a passenger on the Crosby Malkin machine in Pittsburgh he would have never been near the cup otherwise nor should he have been

  2. Florida evolved as a team. Two years ago when they swept Carolina every game was close with 1 goal difference. This year it seemed that Florida is on different level compared to Carolina. Even when Bobrovsky had an average game Florida was able to score more than Bobrovsky allowed in his net.

  3. Matthew was very blunt during his interview after the game – It's not over yet.
They didn't celebrate as hard as they did last time they won in the conference finals because they know how important this time is to HEAL and rest up as much as humanly possible before the finals begin. If the Western finals go to G6 or G7 that means they'll have more time to prepare. Meaning the winner of the Western final might be facing off against a 100% rested Panthers team.

  4. Can't keep icing the same lineup and expect better results Rod. Burns and Stall have to go. Svech is lazy. I dont think Jarvis is a top line player. Anderson crumbles harder than hellebuyk. Aho and Slavin only keepers.

  5. Дима Орлов и Сергей Бобровский -легенды Новокузнецкого хоккея!!!

  6. Can't wait to see the coilers lose the cup on home ice.

…hopefully Gary Galley isn't calling the finals, lol.

  7. Nice to hear the fans cheering for the team, even though they lost. That’s always a nice moment when that happens.

  9. It looks like the same final as last year, but this time Edmonton is much angrier! They are hungry for revenge….

  10. Six straight years of a Florida team making it to the finals smh… when will it end

  11. A Florida team has been in the finals for the last 6 years… crazy to think. I just remember growing up and knowing how awful both teams were. They’ve definitely turned it around in the 2020’s. Tampa had decent teams in the mid to late 2000’s but nothing like they had once they drafted Stammer, Hedman, Point, Kucherov & Vasilevskiy.

Aside from Ekblad seems like the Panthers built up from trades.

Tampa will always be a better dynasty and more skilled team in my book. The Panthers just have the best coach right now and a stronger work ethic.

  12. Florida deserves to go back to the dance. Carolina is hooked to the same IV drip of buying beyond post peak players from the Rangers as Tampa.
