It isn't a curse. I am a 64 year old Canadian. I watched in 1993 when the Montreal Canadians won the Stanley Cup. I also watched the start of referees not calling obvious penalties like Gretzky high sticking Doug Gilmour drawing blood. A 5 minute penalty for anyone else. Bettman became the president of the NHL right after the win by Montreal. He vowed to make hockey popular in the USA. Hockey is fixed. I saw Panther players drop on the ice without being touched yet we get a penalty. You won't see another stanley cup won by a Canadian team. The money is too great for that to happen. I wish I could be proven wrong. Winnipeg is done. I won't even watch the game tonight. I learned to accept this BS. This way I don't lose my mind when Toronto loses. My old friend that passed away this year was a die hard Maple Leafs fan. He started to believe in the fix. If it can be proved then the one thing the NHL can't take from us is the Stanley Cup. I bet a lot of USA fans don't know that the cup belongs to the people of Canada. We should start our own league and have the cup go to the best Canadian team, the way it was intended.

I've come to terms with this team and I'm going to be at peace with whatever the results of tonight's game is. How this team changes will depend on whether they win or lose, but change will happen and I'm looking forward to it.
