  1. Sorry this took so long. Took 8 tries to get this uploaded without YouTube taking it down.

  2. Nurse back-checked without the puck in a game where the Stars were already done. I’m not taking free hits or that type of bullying from a distraught Stars. Doesn’t mean he’s correct but what’s he supposed to do? NOTHING ?

  3. Well, look like the american team is whinning cause they're experiencing what the Canadian teams go through in the Stanely cup finals

  4. do you really think nurse deserved discipline outside of the 2 minute penalty for that? give me a fucking break man….

  5. It finally happened, I lost my virginity on raft heading down the Mississippi, a mile or two before Vicksburg. We had to get to New Orleans somehow .

  6. Only losers would blame the Stars loss on a missed delay of game. They had 21 shots in the second period. If Hintz plays, hopefully he’s learned that if you cross check someone and poke the bear, you’re might get the lumber.

  7. The last time we had the same Stanley Cup Finals matchup in back-to-back years was 2008 and 2009, both featuring Detroit (which was still a Western Conference team at the time) vs. Pittsburgh. Detroit won the first series in 2008, and had also won the league's last repeat championship about a decade earlier. Pittsburgh won the second series in 2009, and would also win the league's next repeat championship about a decade later.

The last time before that was 1983 and 1984, both featuring Edmonton against the New York Islanders. New York won the first series in 1983, which was the fourth consecutive Stanley Cup for them (no team has won more than two in a row since). The Islanders haven't won any championship since. Edmonton won their first Stanley Cup the next year, which would be the start of a dynasty which won five championships in seven years. No team since has won so many so quickly (the closest is the 1997-2002 Red Wings and 2010-15 Chicago Blackhawks, who each won three championships in six years).

If this year does become a repeat matchup, then Florida will attempt to become the first team to beat the same opponent in back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals since the 1968 and 1969 Montreal Canadiens.

  8. It is about time the refs exercise judgement on delay-of-game penalties. They've been calling them 100% while ignoring the dangerous and far more illegal plays. If they are going to ignore penalties, shooting the puck out of play should be the obvious one to ignore.

  9. It’s ok, the refs made up for the missed call by sending Kapanen to the box for Rantanen high sticking Rantanen.

  10. Why would Nurse receive discipline? I am an Oilers fan but not a Nurse fan, he was getting cross checked in the back and retaliated with a slash that didn't look all that hard.

  11. This connection between the missed call and what actually happened shortly thereafter is pure narrative construction. The counterfactual space doesn't use this kind of narrow, narcissistic reasoning pattern. This is just a "just so" story masquerading as analysis to drum up emotion.

  12. Do they not have delivery where you live? How do you walk away from a 1-1 game to pick up Chinese food?

  13. Nurse got a penalty. No penalty for the hit to the head on Brown, no penalty for boarding Nugent-Hopkins…it isn't like the refs are missing only calls for one team here.

  14. The refs are rooting for the oilers. There's total bias with Canadian teams. The refs aren't being too fair with Carolina either, even though the Panthers are the kings of cheap shots

  15. Skinner won a game after giving up a goal?
    Now the oilers are unstopable!
Their baptism by fire is complete!

I'd even say, he plaid better than some of his shutouts!

    Fun fact:
Skinner is already out of reach to have most wins in the playoffs, regardless of what happens!

  16. If the finals are a rematch who are we calling? Florida is looking better than last year to me, pretty scary for the Oilers.

  17. It appears you may have missed most of the second period, or you might not say that the Oilers have won 8 of 9 periods. Because they certainly did not win the second period of game 3. Shots were 22-7 or something silly, tons of good looks by Dallas and little push back from Edm. Oil were extremely fortunate to be up 2 after 2.

  18. When I saw the title I thought the whole video was going to be about how Skinner stopped the first shot like twice already in this series ..

  19. The officiating in all these conference finals has been a bit off to me, as in worse than should be accepted. Genuinely think all 4 teams left have had some terrible calls go for them and against them and there have been so many calls that are just missed. There was one holding the stick incedent that happened right in front of an official and directly prevented a player from being able to play the puck in the neutral zone which went uncalled one of these games, that one call last night for embelishment on tkachuk, i think it was rantanen who high sticked himself and somehow drew a penalty and of course the no call delay of game was just embarrassing like this level of inconsistency and messiness from the officials would be bad in the regular season, let alone the playoffs, especially not the damn conference finals. This kinda thing usually doesnt get to me so much but man this year its just so prevalent that its kinda taking away from the games for me. I dont think its been a major factor, I think the better teams are winning, but it just sucks to see.

  20. “First 2 goals shouldn’t have counted” sometimes you get a call sometimes you don’t. No excuse to let 2 goals in 2 minutes in 5v5 especially if your the Dallas fuckin stars

  21. GIVE THE MISSED CALL ON KULAK A REST FINALLY!! It did NOT decide the outcome of the game. Dallas was given a gift in return late in the period for the high sticking penalty that Rantanen gave on Rantanen. Just because the Oilers scored shortly after the missed call, doesn't mean they wouldn't have scored a short-handed goal or scored 2 or 3 after the penalty expired.

  22. Oilers win a game nd all u talk about is the refs being on there side don’t mention any of the misses on Dallas
