No desnoyers. Overrated as fuck ngl. Qmjhl stinks. Misa or frondell 100%. Desnoyers is worse 2 ways and defensively than frondell. Also desnoyers was responsible directly for like 4 goals against in the mem cup

Caleb Desnoyers may have a similar play style to Toews, Crosby, Kopitar etc, doesn't mean he is as good as them at the same age. He is not nearly as talented explosive or offensively skilled as Jonathan Toews at the same age. He reminds me more of Antoine Vermette.

No, go trade for Misa or take Martone, they have enough bottom six forwards in the system. Martone fits the need as a big strong forward who can do it all besides having blazing speed and can play with Bedard as a running mate for years
When you pick at #3 and pick a "safe high floor player" thats a great way to be the Nashville Predators for a decade. When you pick at #3, you have to pick a star level, franchise cornerstone. You can find a player as good and similar to Desnoyers later in the draft. You may have already found a player similar to Desnoyers in Boisvert.
Nope. Doesnt have the floor or ceiling that Hagens, Martone and even Frondell have. Tneyre all 1st line players. Besr case scenario is Desnoyers on 2nd line

I’m taking Hagens at 3 and putting skill and size around him setting up two dynamic lines you can find size late in the first round but you won’t find the skill and talent that Hagens possesses
I'm high on desnoyers but I still think his best comparable is RNH, I don't think he'll be toews level but if he is RNH or hischier level I think that's good
Rather you buy it or not there is a legit argument for Hagens skill wise to go first no other prospects outside of the top two can say that the pick is Hagens if we are presented with that scenario
More and more i like Hagens at 3 too. That u18 worlds tournament unforgettable. Hagens can create space 5on5 and on the PP def hawks need playmakers. Doubt isles accept any reasonable trade offers from hawks so hawks can get the #1. I think there is some weight to people's point that not many people want to play for the isles. Isles should really consider trading it hawks and taking hagens at #3, else they get Schaefer or misa and they gone after rookie contract. Do it do it.

Bickell wasn’t a top pick Big Buff wasn’t a top pick heck he was a defenseman but putting those type of players around skilled players brought out the best in them.
