  1. Rossi Vs Nyquist minutes during the POs were handed down from Billy. The reason is obvious. No one including Billy himself couod convince me otherwise ☝️

  2. If Rossi could buzz around like Caufield I don’t think we’re having this discussion

  3. Two of our best scoring players, Fiala and Rossi…one is gone and one’s about to be. It’s as if Guerin hates scoring forwards.

  4. BG hypocrisy….he's not getting rid of Iowa wild coach coach he can grow as a coach…but he doesn't do the same with players. BG has nothing to show since he became GM

  5. There has to be a deal in place. Its the only thing that makes sense and that scares me. Its like Billy cut his minutes and put him between two big dudes to protect him from injury? Was that the punishment for not taking 5x5m? As soon as the Nyquist trade happened we all were shocked at losing that 2nd round pick, but what if Billy already had a deal to replace Rossi’s spot and get that pick back? Im not digging this trend. Feels desperate.

  6. What do think about Pittsburgh for Rossi?? Malkin could go wing, or vise versa, for one year before he retires. Rossi could learn from Sid for 3 years, yes I believe Sid will play another year after this extension, so the growth of Rossi under Sid would be something to see. Pittsburgh also has loads of picks.

  7. Everybody wants to pillage Buffalo's roster, the problem is what would Buffalo want back in a trade? They are LOADED with top prospects at every position, they have all their draft picks and the guys they have signed long team are all super young…What could they possibly want back in trade returns?

  8. Apart from Rossi it is insane discussion
Wild to have a center problem
Imagine just a situation that Eriksson Ek gets hurt in preseason and will miss 25 games .And Rossi a player who just did 100 point's and 164 games on a ELC is gone.If you are not getting a center back any trade is stupid
So all this how much they are willing to give Boeser is just nonsense .
Boeser has not a single 82 games season in 9 years when Rossi has already 2

  9. I had some training in Chicago this past week and a handful of people from across Canada all talked to me about how their local media (Especially Montreal and Toronto) are apparently talking a LOT about trading for Rossi or offer sheeting him.

  10. Maybe both Guerin and Hynes aren't right for the Wild. Hynes is just an average or below average coach. Guerin makes very questionable trades and signings

  11. Im not against trading Rossi but the clear fear here is getting fair value. I just dont see how we do but I do think the Wild will be substantially better next season with free agency and other trades coming.

Trading Rossi is okay, but I dont know how you get a player for player deal done that you walk away with thinking 'hey, we did pretty good here'

  12. I like Rossi but if in a trade we get a player who helps this team more, I’m all for it. I think he tops out exactly what he is, and there isn’t anything wrong with that. But, Rossi isn’t the exact player we need him to be. You want to see smaller guys that put up 80+ points, not less if you want to trade size for skill.

Great kid but I’m open to trading him.

  13. Is there also not an element that Hartman played well and physically could frustrate their top 6 players more, while the 4th line needed a center with more pace in Rossi to pull the two sleds around. Sometimes I think we make too big of a deal out of lineup decisions. It really becomes a team game in the postseason that comes with TOI sacrifices. Wouldn’t be that surprised if he’s in the top 6 again on opening night. Unless he requests a trade

  14. It’s not just about points it’s about pace, toughness for the right price . Wild offered a fair price 5×5 Rossi wants 5×8 .

  15. All your talk you never mention the possibility that Rossi wants too much money — if true that's make it an easy decision for Guerin to want to move him — do you think Billy is just going to come out and that that publicly? don't make it more than it is

  16. Every single fan and outsider fan of another team understands Rossi for the great player he is and management is using him like cheap meat bait. There's nothing wrong with the current Wild roster – it was an unfortunate train wreck of injuries. Just use the free cap scape to BUILD AROUND WHAT ALREADY WORKS. Don't trade instrumental foundational pieces like Rossi.

  17. Why cant we build a young good team with all this minor talent Bill is screwing this up pay Karill hes our SS get some good help from our young talent why is this so hard do we need better coaching a new GM or something it starts from top down when its always the same its like the wild are ok with just squeaking into the playoffs Rossi is good why not keep him
