The Chris Lamoriello news doesn’t mean they can’t still fire him but my gosh it’s so frustrating. A clear case of nepotism and ignorance of their faults. Bridgeport has been an embarrassment and Lou knows that but still extends his lackluster son.

In terms of the Lamoriello thing…. They knew what Lou's like. They could've taken away his ability to do contract negotiation. Boston did it to Chiarelli.
As to Palmieri… I agree, and I'll go even further… get rid of no trade/no movement clauses. Make it official… put it in the CBA. No player can have a no trade/no movement clause. Management/ownership need to be saved from themselves. Have to get rid of players that aren't working.
Best way to improve the Dallas Stars is to fire Pete DeBoer.

Most NHL front office executives are nepo hires. Chris Lamoriello is nothing unique. Giving him a contract is indicative of Lou's selfish mindset.
Schenn isn't Ontario born. He's from the west.
Duchene for three years in Montreal wouldn't be a terrible option in a relatively thin center market. I wouldn't offer a fourth year, though. That could be a sticking point if they actually enter serious negotiations.
I genuinely believe the reason Western Conference teams keep falling short in the playoffs year after year is simple: Edmonton is a powerhouse dynasty. With McDavid, Draisaitl, and Bouchard all in their prime, they’re practically unstoppable. Let’s be honest—no team can match that level of star power dominance right now.

Matt Duchesne used the Habs during his UFA contract to get the price up. Now he's at the tail end of his career, he wants to come here? No thanks. Habs are no longer a retirement home for these players. There are better options out there.
It is time to stop talking about tax free states unless you look at all not just Florida teams and the VGK because they are winning. Seattle and Nashville are also in tax free states. It cannot just count when a team is winning

Fake news. All these random articles about Schenn is clickbait. All based upon the blues articles that surfaced before the deadline last year before the blues took off and had a 12 game winning streak and nearly knocked off the jets. Schenn is too valuable to let go. Especially if we lose vets like Faksa and suter.
