Palat will be bought out. Dougie will be traded at deadline. Haula traded. Luke 8×8.5 . They’ll add 3rd line center and top 9 wing. Have money ready in 27 for Quinn .
By opening night ALL 3 Hughes brothers will be in the line up with long. Term deals. Also how do you knoe they would.not do well in the Atlantic? We own Montresl for decades and match up eell with others. Also we have our goalir of the future in Mikhail Yegorov at HU

If the NJ Devils organization wants Timo Meier to get back to his scoring days on the Sharks, they should do everything possible to put him at right wing on his line with Hishier as well as on the powerplay. That is his natural position. This leftwing experiment needs to end.
Get Luke Hughes signed and get rid of and replace much of the depth. 3rd and 4th lines were atrocious in the second half and playoffs.

The youngest defenseman on Florida is 28, the youngest defenseman on the Oilers is 25. So how exactly does having two or three 21 year olds on the blue line make the NJ Devils a contender? It doesn't. There's no reason Casey or Nemec need to be full time NHLer next season. If the Devils are serious about winning they need the veteran guys out there. Fitzgerald got a lot of criticism in 23-24 because the D were too young now were supposed to move guys to redo the too many young dmen thing again? If you trade everyone on the Devils that gets hurt there's no team. Some injuries you can't avoid it doesn't matter. I'm not worried about Jack. Just scratch him for game 62 next year.

Palat is a regular season anchor but honestly he’s a great playoff player. Was noticeable round 1 and practically won us game 7 vs rangers in 2023. So I’d be good with keeping palat.
