Oilers got very lucky, this series is far from over.
The Panthers looked like they were still on the break. They played meh, the Oilers played a well as they can. We still almost took game one.

That delay of game penalty is what did it, dumb panic play by a Stanley Cup novice, not surprised a 4th liner caused this. Lack of aggressiveness allowed Edmonton to pile on shot attempts as well. Can’t sit on leads against edmonton

Game 2 will give us the best look into how the series will play out. Top line, Verhaeghe, Tkachuk, etc have been borderline non existent all playoffs. These guys make the big bucks to play, all of them need to show up huge and put pucks on/in the net instead of making the pretty plays

Not shocked ! Was down 2-0 vs Leafs and we showed incredible resilience. Oilers wont win this series, Let them celebrate that little win.

didn't deserve to win…outside of a solid chunk of the 2nd period, we got outplayed and looked tired in the third and OT. Barkov needs to shoot the puck. He passed on a few chances trying to make a perfect play.

The ending to that game sucked! Positives are it was a 1 goal game and there's lots of room for improvement in the 3rd. You can't play 20 mins and only get 2 shots. Friday is a must win so they can take the wind out of the Oilers sails!
Real tough break for Nosek, that puck hit some rough ice and jumped on him right before he was gonna direct it off the boards. Just sailed on him.

The way you felt at the end of this is how we felt. Cause we had a lead, losing if just so frustrating. The win was right there. But it is only one game and we will bounce back, but just frustrating. That kind of loss feels worse than a 3-0 one.
