The Bruins are in desperate need of playmaking. I am sure Brady Martin will become a good middle sixer but taking him at 7 would be a reach. You don't know how many chances you have to pick this high in the lottery, the Bruins need to take a shot on somebody with a higher offensive ceiling.

There seems to be quite a few interesting players. They could probably even trade down a few spots and get a great player. Martone fo example seems like he could be a great match for us with his power forward frame. Victor Eklund has a motor on him that never stops, add to that a great offence he could be amazing for us.
Porter Martone, has been my 1 since the Bruins tanked.

McQueen might be a really good pick at 7 if he's available. It sounds like the injury he had was just a vertabrae fracture from a growth spurt. That's an injury to a specific, single bone that does not implicate future injury. Not all back injuries are the same and that one in particular does not foretell anything bad at all. I.e. breaking your arm once does not mean you're likely to break it again in the future
They need top six Terry O'Reilly, Stan Jonathan, John Wensink, Chris Nilan and Jay Miller style players. 🤪
