  1. This grizzled old truck driver is crying like a baby watching this…way to go, Coach! Caps Nation loves you…

  2. I'm very proud to be a fan of the caps! We had a great season and hope for a great season next year and years to come!

  3. We’re lucky to have him behind the bench. Well deserved and congrats Coach. Immediately makes it about everyone but him. All class.

  4. We are so lucky to have him, thanks B Mac for giving the right man this position to lead a new young core. They will follow Spencer’s great enthusiasm and tireless work ethic.

  5. Wonderful family ❤️ Congrats Spencer you made it 👏🏻 and Thank You and your stab for a great year 🫶🏻

  6. I knew he would win this. Even though the Caps didn't go on in this year's playoffs Spencer did a great job with the time he had. Maybe next year will be the Caps' year!🎉

  7. On his big night he's telling other people to enjoy it. Thats unusual and look into his selfless mind which seems to be where his power as a coach comes from. His high empathy and understanding of non-linear processes. How things affect other things like a ripple effect. It's like he has an eagle eye view instead of being stuck in his own head.

  8. Congrats Coach! An incredible season. I’m looking forward to you coaching the caps for many, many, years to come.

  9. Not a caps fan but this is absolutely deserved. Outstanding coach. Also he walked past the trophy without even glancing at it to hug his daughter. Beautiful
