I honestly don't think Marner has any interest to play in Anaheim. The guy is likely to sign with LA, Florida or Vegas. He has interests to play in Vegas from the report articles. I have a feeling that Anaheim will be unsuccessful in FA again. Not saying it's impossible but Marner probably doesn't think Anaheim is playoff or cup contender so I'm saying slim. If he does sign with the Ducks then I'm certain Anaheim will pay a pretty penny.
Not sure when the change was made but now that this channel has a different host from the original I will look to give it another try. I was not impressed by the original host.
Mariner does fit the ducks need pretty well. Right hand shot, scorer, winger, still young. And plus for ducks is media, location, filled with centers, youthful team at all position. Money is the x factor. Cons is can he be a 100 point scorer away from Tavares, nylander, Matthew's. Pro for ducks, he'd be the man, where Florida it's tkuchuk, Vegas it's eichel, kings it's kopi. We shall see in the first day if not week of fa'cy judging by beekers track record of past fa's.
If Marner signs with us, it will be a great fit.
If he chooses the Kings or Golden Knights, then I will look forward to proving him wrong.

Marner won't be signing with the Ducks… he is more likely going to sign with a Western team with tax benefits like Vegas where he can make more money AND play with a contending team. I doubt the Ducks sign any big UFA… at best we make some trades like Trouba+Gibson for something like Hamilton+Haula where we can try to improve the power play and faceoffs. It would be nice to get some physical players who can play real minutes unlike Ross Johnston…. maybe a Jeannot/Frederic type.

I can't believe Philadelphia and John Tortorella ran Cutter Gauthier out of town. It wouldn't be surprising if he elevated his game, Anaheim knows how to develop talent where has Philly has been choking since 1975 (that's 50 years).
