Dan, I do very literally follow you because of the “Dan was right” sentiment you stated. Most “journalism” for 2025 is for clicks; you stay true to the craft and don’t twist things like others. I’ll continue to be a PHN+ member because you’re reliable, invested, knowledgeable, and not doing things for clicks. When people do clickbait stuff, the credibility is gone and I’m out. Separately, would love for you to teach people about how what line you play on, the people you play with, impacts the offensive % face offs, and your output.
Ex) Rodrigues, McCann, Kapanen, Beauvillier, Granland
Yes, they all had other circumstances. But all were greatly impacted when playing top 2 lines with good players. And fans don’t understand 3rd and 4th line is very literally a different role, with different offensive opportunities and expectations.

Dan – should have hired Todd Nelson. Dubas is a smart guy who made a lot of dumb moves in year one with the Penguins. He started to redeem himself last season by bringing in young players and draft picks. Dan Muse? It’s going to be a long season for Pittsburgh.

All teams will overpay the next few seasons. With it being know the cap is going way up over the next few years, the players will certainly demand more pay.
