If any team knows a series isn’t over until u win 4 it’s this team, not even because of last years cup but because of just 2 series ago with the Leafs, up 3-2 with all the momentum with game 6 at home and they lost 2-0, they killed em in game 7 but I’m sure everyone’s heart would love for them to close it out in 6 instead of 7.

In my limited opinion, apart from the general flatness of the Oilers (which everyone is blaming on fatigue), their Coach (Knoblauch) blew it. He swapped goalies in a desperation tactical nuke strike (AGAIN in these playoffs), made some odd line moves like taking Kapanen entirely out of the game, and had no answer for Florida's third line (ok, fine, NOBODY has an answer for that third line). Additionally, the Oilers played too conservative on home-ice, they were trying to actively avoid the middle and bang with the Cats on the walls — not the most efficient move v. Florida.
Edmonton's flatness is not hyperbole, they were lethargic and half-asleep for stretches in this game. At 37, Marchand would not have been able to run away with that early face-off had the defenders stayed focused on their jobs.
I couldn’t care less about basketball or football lol. Gimmick sports/cheese dick sports. One more Panthers…. ONE
