    Yeah, but this kinda goes to why I don't mind it when teams call themselves "world champions" after winning a championship in the 4 major North American leagues.
    Sure, none of the teams based in the country of Canada have won a cup in that time. But every cup winner is full of Canadian players. The best players from around the world play in these leagues, the actual geography of where those teams call home is most irrelevant to that
