    Pillzy, as a goalie you should know this, the reason for gigantic tape rims on the end of the shaft is to keep the shaft off the ice if the stick is dropped so it's easier to pick up.

    Not much of a difference as to what they bring to the team with both G and Perron, I’d keep only one. The one trade they need to make is Thomas Chabot, his trade value has never been higher, and his 10 million off the books would create all kinds of flexibility, not to mention what they might be able to get back!

    Bro if Giroux signs with Montreal… the team we have a heated rivalry with, who seemingly intentionally try to hurt our star players every single night… if he signed with THEM…. Giroux is top 2 most hated players of all time for me personally lol Say it ain't so

    I would have traded Zetterlund away along with the 1st rd pick to acquire a legitimate top line player. I view Zetterlund as the eleventh best player or valuable player on this roster & on this team as a 4th line depth player who can move up when injuries occur. It was a terrible move to trade Ostapchuk away for Zetterlund. I think they will give him ample opportunity this yr to earn that contract, but if he can't find his scoring touch here, they should trade him away for an upgrade asap.

    With so many right shots at forward maybe we should move Stutzle back to LW.
    Stutzle – Cozens – Batherson
    Tkachuk – Pinto – Giroux
    Cousins – Greig – Amadio
    Perron – Halliday – Zetterlund

    Still think Ottawa will draft Fiddler or Spence (we need left shot forwards who can play in the top nine). Nesbitt or Zonnon could be good picks too or they should trade down to acquire another pick & maybe still pick up any of these guys.

    This Zett deal is fine if you look at it from a % of cap space.

    But boy, I think this means G is gone, there’s simply too many middle 6 players. You won’t get very far in the playoffs with this roster.
