Billy has done a decent job with all that he has had to work with considering Parise/suter contracts. Saying that it is time to put up or you are gone! As a Minnesota native I am sick of being mediocre and watch these non traditional hockey cities win Stanley Cups. He needs to land at least one good free agent that can jump directly into top six and another in a trade at some point next season. If he can get them both through FA great. Most likely won’t be able to though. Nelson was the guy I was hoping for big 6’4” center that can skate and create offense. Imo he has 2-4 good years left and Sakic wasn’t going to let him walk. My gues is Boeser will be the guy they target and I am fine with that. Reason being Wild need a right handed shot and if Boeser plays top 6 and or lands on A-line with Kaprizov he could get 30-40 goals. And Billy is full of it saying they want to keep Rossi. Somewhat there was a fall out between Guerin/Hynnes vs. Rossi. You don’t drop a guy down to,fourth line that is a first round draft pick who scored 60 pts. Usually where there is smoke there is fire!
And pick up Thompson and Keller for Olympics = no brainer
